[ She shuts the journal and will be there, a few minutes later, in the library. Jade hadn't been lying; she does have dog ears, fluffy white ones that are perked with curiosity as she peers around the seat to where Matilda is sitting. ]
Have you read any Shakespeare before?

[ she tries not to stare. She was told there would be people here from all sorts of places but dog ears. The question about Shakespeare helps. ]
A few months ago I read A Midsummer Night's Dream in the library. It's about fairies.
