DLN 006 - Bomb [Dictated/Action.]
Anyone care to explain where this pile of knitted scarves came from, or why my rooms covered in rust flakes? My internal clock is set a week ahead but it shouldn't have taken more than a few hours for me to sleep and recharge.
...If anyone wants a scarf, you'll find a box of them in the lobby in about ten minutes.
[Not too long after; Blues is carrying a box filled with yellow knitted scarves into the lobby and dropping it smack in the middle.]
[ooc: Off his loss.]

Um... excuse me. Would it be okay if I took one?
Forever!
...Yeah, that's why I left it here, I see that wasn't quite as useful as I thought it was.
[He reaches into the box and removes a scarf to give to 5.]

[He pauses mid-sentence to gratefully accept the scarf. It is still far larger than he is-- but he's able enough to carry it, even if most of it drags on the floor behind him. Hugging a good portion of it to his chest, 5 smiles.]
Thanks. Did you make this? It's so soft.
no subject
[He can't help but smirk a little as 5 drags it along behind him.]
Do you want a hand with that?
no subject
[He glances up with a vaguely worried expression, though his smile still lingers. People here are kind, and offer him help a lot... but he doesn't like making things harder for everyone.]
Oh, I'm okay... it would probably be a pain to ask you to carry it all the way upstairs for me, heh. If you could maybe push the elevator button, though, that would be helpful.
no subject
It's no trouble, but if you insist. [He'll let 5 carry it, but he'll walk alongside him toward the elevator, he's in no particular rush.]

It happened to me, too, and to several of my friends, and they all seem to remember everything from those three days.
[He understandably moves rather slowly compared to a human, but does his best to keep a quick pace so that Blues won't have to slow down to the point of it being aggravating.]

It apparently lasted longer than a three days for me, closer to a full week and I have no memory of it.

The whole castle was on some kind of weird loss thing. We were all in a retirement home, some of us were old, but some of us weren't. You came back old, and stayed that way for a few days.
Forever!
[How exactly does a machine get old? Especially when he's already dead. It did explain the scarves and the rust though.]
I don't recall any of it, but that's how this place likes to work sometimes, right?
Their CR is so weird, but I love it! <3
Yeah, pretty much. Kinda likes to throw us for a loop as soon as we start to get comfortable.
It's certainly an interesting friendship they have going.
[This had to be the castles idea of a sick joke. He knows he's about to die when he returns to his world, there's no getting old when you're already at the end of your rope.]
A robot in a retirement home? I suppose it beats a scrapyard.
Just wait. If the stars align, I'll have a robo-doggy that's been compared to Roll coming in soon =3
I'll say. Especially when you consider that you can think and act like a human. Doesn't seem right to just throw someone out like that.
That could certainly be interesting.
[Now there's a soft spot that just got whacked.]
Yeah...
Correction: It's Rush, and I got my names goofed. That's what I get for not knowing Mega Man <_>
[Evan's never been the wasteful sort, and considering that his best friend is currently a feral alien insect, he doesn't discriminate.]
I know a lot of people don't think of robots like that, but I've never really thought of them as anything but people. There was a robot back home called Ultimaton, that I guess was originally made to hunt people like me, but he was guarding the place I was born, he chose to help me, even knowing where I came from, who I was.
Pfft, don't sweat it, it happens.
Sounds like a real stand up machine. Where I'm from, I'm the most advanced machine, able to freely think and choose what to do on my own. Kind of like what how you described Ultimaton.

[Of course, he wasn't bound to that rule, but that wasn't important at the moment.]

I'm fine.
no subject
Good. I can fix humans just fine, but anything else...
no subject
I wouldn't worry about that, I can manage to do most repairs myself.
no subject
Well, that's good to know.

A turtle? How was that?
