[ ashley's senses are dulled as well and she's not liking this one bit. something bad is going to happen. ]

This place gives me the creeps.

[ announced to the area at large as she passes by. ]

[She forces her eyes away from the gore room and looks towards the blonde that had spoken]

With rooms decorated like that, I'd say that's bit of an understatement.

[She motions towards the room where it was decorated in blood and gore]

[ she pauses to glance into the room. it's a familiar sight, one she's seen with abnormals on the loose more times than she can count. she grew up with things most people would never dream of.

and yet, the last time she saw something like this, it was by her own hands. the blood had been her doing, innocent drops spattered on the walls like a monument to her inability to survive. her inability to be normal, to realize that dana had been lying to her face.

ashley swallows hard and tears her gaze away from the room to focus blankly on the other woman. ]

Yeah, well, it could be worse. Pretty sure that's not the only bad thing that's going to happen.

I hate this, but I agree with you. Blood and gore on the walls is never a good sign.

[She shudders and turns her back to the room completely. The last time she'd seen that much blood had been because of Billy. And before that it'd been Regina's soldiers. Then Peter.

She was suddenly glad that she didn't have her abilities. It meant that she could get away from the smell of blood]

[ she turns away from it, too, hoping that's just a one-time thing. ]

I've got an idea. Why don't we stick together and work on finding a way out of here?

Sticking together sounds like a great idea. It'll help lower our chances of being killed. Or dying alone, if it comes down to that.

Hey, I'm not about to let anyone die on my watch, got it?

[ not that she's reprimanding. just stating a fact. ]

Besides, better to have company in a place like this.

[ pause. ]

[ strength in numbers. she offers a smile and turns down the hallway. ]
