 [you know what's fun? Having no sun out so you could go out whenever you wanted. Want to know what's even better than that? Taking a chance to mess with the lot of you when the castle gave him the tools to do so. 

So you may be trying to ignore that creaking noise when it suddenly gets louder. A vase may be knocked over by "something". Who or what just blew in your ear? And there may be a creepy laugh following you wherever you go. But Dainn is a creative shadow, so he'll find a new way to mess with whoever is unlucky enough to come across him. 

So come on Paradisa. Entertain him with your paranoia.]

[Here, have one of the most timid people in the castle. He's already freaking out about this whole friday the 13th thing, he doesn't need Dainn to make it worse.

Shit man, what is with this damn castle. He'll pause for a moment, startled, before turning around slowly and glancing around the hallway.]

…and whatever is making that scratching noise. Sounds like it's getting closer too.]

[Oh god, looking around hurriedly.]

[Hoping it's another resident, in his exact same situation.]

[the scratching noise stops, but did something sharp just run over your feet? I think it did.]

[He'll jump back suddenly, looking down at his feet.]

[Okay, he's walking now. Gonna try and get back to his room. He can't even remember why he thought leaving was a good idea.]

[hope you don't mind Dainn joining you for that walk. He starts humming, enjoying the darkness and this far more than he should.]

[Humming? He'll pause for a second in his tracks, looking to his left and right for a moment to find the sourc-oh hey, there's someone.

WHAT THE FU-startled, clearly, but it's better than seeing nothing there at all.]

Oh! There...was someone here after all. You startled me.

[Dainn smiles and his eyes - a bloody red - seem to glow in the darkness. He doesn't mind being spotted.]

I did? I'm sorry then. It wasn't my intention.

[today must really suck for you, hun Django? No sunlight, no powers.

…and the sound of something scraping agaInst a wall nearby, like nails on a chalkboard. Let's see how you handle things without any power.]

[that's going to make him shudder. If he were a cat or something, his ears would be lying back]

[aww. He'd feel bad if he was a differen person. But since he wasn't, something is going to slam into a nearby wall.]

[brave little boy, aren't you? Hope you don't mind Dainn joining you on that walk. Right behind you, of course, floor creaking as he moves.]

[after that stunt on the roof, he has no energy to fight Dainn off. All he can hope is that he won't start to physically creep on him as he starts to break into a run]

[Dainn sighs and sends out one of his shadow claws, hoping to trip Django or at least get him to slow down. He's not done having fun yet]

[Dainn silently hopes that you're not always this helpless in the dark. Oh well, more to tease you about later on.

But for now, there's the sound of something slithering along the ground. Kind of like a snake. You like snakes, right Django?]

Guh! [he recoils a little, remembering the feeling of Carmilla's tail]

[whatever it is doesn't go directly for Django. Instead, it slams into the ground again, close to his feet. Best get going Django before this thing actually hits you.]

[he'll let Django go at this point, but he can't help but laugh and thanks to Paradisa it sounds even creepier than usual. Bye bye and thank you for the entertainment, as always.]

[that groan was louder than he intended, whoops

[you're really adding fuel to the fire Django. Or just giving Dainn another excuse to laugh at you. But isn't it nice you're putting someone in a good mood?]

[Katara doesn't like this -- not a single bit. Not that her culture puts any big significance on Friday the 13th, but she's heard enough of the lore in the castle to not doubt that the castle itself might be doing something to 'celebrate' the day, as it were.

Which is probably why she's creeping oh-so-carefully down the hallway, shoulder to the wall.]

[there's suddenly the sound of something hitting the wall right behind you. What do?]

Scream like a little girl and WHIRL AROUND TO FACE THE NOISE. That's what do.]

[Dainn has to clap a hand over his mouth to stop himself from laughing. He didn't expect that much of a reaction!

But for now, he'll stick with making the floor creak with one of his claws.]

[She's going to be mortified when she realizes it's him. For now? She thinks she's just being watched by the castle.]

Veeeery funny, Paradisa. Soooo funny.

[humm…Dainn sends out both of his claws and they pound against the ground, getting closer and closer to Katara…]

Stop it!! [She thumps her fist on the side of the wall, but her pace is definitely increasing.] This isn't funny!

The pounding slowly stops and something scrapes against the ground before all goes silent. For now.]

[She glances around once, twice... and then just runs the rest of the way down the hall. :|]
