Listen, there was another guy before me -- they called him Subject 16 -- that was also going through your memories, but he couldn't get as far as I could. That means at some point you fathered the kid that became his ancestor, and I'm descended from someone you fathered after the first kid.

But last time I was in the Animus I was further along than Subject 16 had been, and you still hadn't gotten married.
