A message appears

[There is a message in the journal. No voice accompanies it and it's very difficult to read.]

What could it mean?

((OOC: Yes, the text is mirrored. Presumably someone will figure out how to read that. The message is as follows:

People in the castle

My name is Arya. I'm with the group that was taken from the castle. We're safe. We're in a place that looks like the city but weird. We're in a library right now. We're trying to find a way back. If anyone can read this please answer.

Please assume all future messages coming from the missing residents appear mirrored as above))

[Good girl! Nice attention to detail, he likes you.]

I'm assuming you're writing in a journal. One of yours, or did you find it?

Not a journal. It says on the cover The Useful Book. The library is full of journals. One for each resident I think.

[Oh! That's interesting. And here he thought this was starting to get boring.]

Why choose to write in that book instead of the journals? Are they not functioning?

They were other people's. They are the only ones that move. They have names of people I know in the castle. There was only one pen writing by itself. This book was in the air over it.

Keep it with you. With any luck, it will continue being useful.

Does this city of yours have a castle as well?

Tell us if you do.

Must be some kind of connection between here and there. Anything else you've seen or heard that could be useful?

There's a book here in a cage. Really big. It says Cair Paradisa on the front. Some of the men are trying to break the cage to get it.

Seems the best next step.

Keep us informed if you manage to get to it. Try not to set off a trap.

Does it at all remind you of Cair Paradisa, or is it another castle entirely?

Too far to be useful, it sounds like.

Focus on the book, but get someone to determine if the castle's at all accessible from where you are. Look for roads, potential landscape barriers, etc.. Could be your best bet if where you are now doesn't yield anything.
