007// Hands off training (Open)

[Should anyone be actively listing to their Journal at this point...or well, just have it anywhere in the general vicinity of themselves, they would be hearing a rather strange noise. An odd grunting was filtering through, followed by the sounds of pages trying to flip, only to fall back down again, which would quickly be accompanied by a frustrated sigh. Eventually though, it sounded as if the person had finally managed to get his journal open and anyone who knew Peter could tell it was him, though his normal deadpan was punctuated by a certain tone somewhere between frustration and oddly enough, worry, which was highly unusual coming from him]

So...I uh...well I'm not really sure what to do here to be honest. Looks like someone thought it would be funny to up and run off with a certain few parts of me here. Anyone think they could come and gimme a hand here? ...Or two, two would be nice.

(Pete's suffered his first secondary loss! Feel free to help, fret, or just laugh at him, and anyone is invited to take part, so have fun~!)

[There is a deliberate pause.]

So.... you might say the castle unhanded you?

Sounds like things are starting to get a little out of hand over there.

Where are you? I have the time right now to do a little helping out.

...That's okay. I don't really need doors.

[Danny does some quick calculations, and after that he's stepping out through the wall of his room in the Ortus tower and floating over to the correct tower. He raps on the window and waves.]

Dr. Venkman? What happened?

Well, sounds like a temporary loss to me. I've never heard of something like this happening before, but the castle's kind of notorious for having a strange sense of humor. You'll just have to deal with it for a week or so, most likely.

Anything I can help with?

[personal profile] zeke_developer 2012-06-20 05:25 am (UTC)(link)
Well.....hmm..... I've never done hands before...but bipedal robotics is my main field of study back home. I've actually been working with another resident lately, and from him I've gotten my hands on a chemical compound for synthesizing artificial muscle tissue. I don't think I could have a pair of hands finished by the time you'd actually still be able to use them, but...hmm....maybe I'll keep sets of artificial limbs around in case people need them?

No problem! I know a thing or two about living without a set of limbs, so if you need any help adapting, I'd be happy to tell you what I remember about the subject!

Try wrapping your elbow around the knob, or your toes. When I was in physical therapy as a kid, I remember watching a couple of guys do that as part of their therapy. World War II vets, I think they were.

Oh...right. How far up your arms does this loss extend? I'm assuming you don't have you elbows?
