[ 06 ] Action/Dictated

[ Happy Valentine's Day, Paradisa. Sirius is about to leave (to go find one Miss Alexandra Russo and spout what they both know is the worst romantic bullshit at her, no doubt) when two boxes propped up at his door fall on his feet.

Upon picking it up, he finds that one is a heart-shaped box full of chocolates and the other... well then. ]

For me? Aw, Paradisa, you shouldn't have...

[ A beat, as he gazes upon the depressing little cake. ]

You really shouldn't have.

[Alex]

Let's go into town tonight, just the two of us. Dinner's on me.

[ There's a smile to his voice as he talks. ]

[[ Open to planned and unplanned chocoshenanigans! He's going to either wandering the halls, hanging out in the lobby or hanging out in the kitchen. :3 ]]

Hey, I have dated a lot of British guys. I think I know how to do my bad impressions.

[At around the same time as her neighbor discovers them, Rise opens her door to find her own heart-shaped box of chocolates! And a cute little cake!

Well, the cake isn't as cute as it looked at first glance. Why would someone leave such a sad-looking cake on Valentine's Day? ... And why did someone leave chocolates and cake for her, anyway? White Day isn't for another month.

Or maybe Valentine's Day is different in the castle? Oh, well. No use dwelling on it. There's chocolate!

And a cute neighbor guy across the hall, too! Once Rise finally looks up from the unexpected gifts.]

Oh, hi!

[Rise steps out, still in her nightgown, and with her hair down. She looks amazingly well put-together for someone who just rolled out of bed. Because she didn't. She never leaves her room without at least fixing herself up a bit.

She looks at the matching box of chocolates and gives him a sly smirk.]

Guess we're both hot items this year.

[She punctuates with a wink, of course. This still strikes her as a bit strange, but she's not going to question it too much.]

[chuckles] I'm guessing you got the same gifts as the rest of us.

[ MOST DRAMATICALLY DOWNTRODDEN VOICE. ]

Aw, thanks for making a bloke feel unimportant. The boys of Hogwarts must really love you, Granger. [ sarcasmmmmmmmmm ]

You got them too, I reckon?

Sorry to disappoint. I'm just so popular in England.

Oh, yes, I'm quite popular with boys. I can hardly keep them at bay most days.

... And yes, I did get them.

[ Sirius looks over when the girl speaks, and his face brightens considerably once he gets a full once-over. Cute Asian girl in a frothy little nightie? Happy Valentine's Day indeed.

He sidles along the wall toward her door to move closer, offering a wry smirk. ]

Hot items? I'll say.

[ He offers his hand genially, nodding his head politely. ]

Sirius Black. Who might you be, luv?

I'd have to keep a close eye on you if you ever came to visit, if you're so aces with the boys over here.

Tell me this though- are all your boyfriends as magical and awesome?

[ Likewise, Remus has found his own box of chocolates, courtesy of the castle and has now parked himself in the kitchen, dutifully ignoring his actual breakfast in favour of chowing down on chocolate that seems to never run out.

So far, there have been no incidents, but Remus feels rather odd. On one hand, he feels rather angry and upset at a certain someone, whom he caught this morning flirting with at least two different girls and is quite possibly chatting up a third this very moment. Remus knows he really has no place to be upset and shouldn't be using the chocolate to drown his sorrows, but whatever. It's chocolate and he won't deny that the "light-as-a-feather" feeling it gives him is making him feel a whole lot better.

So there you go, Sirius, feel free to interrupt him while he's inhaling his chocolate. ]

[Rise can't help but giggle at Sirius' distinctly Western charm, as she offers her own hand. She knows how she was instructed to invite a handshake from a foreigner, not how to respond, so she leaves that part up to him.]

Rise Kujikawa. I guess we've been neighbors all this time, huh?

[Chocolates and a chance encounter with a charming stranger? Best Valentine's Day morning ever.]

[She has a good laugh at that.]

Nah, only a couple of 'em.

[At the lobby, Mitsuru was walking down the stairs. The sound of her high heels could be heard from a distance. She has her box of chocolates on her hand, and she seems to be heading down to The Lux]

The pleasure's all mine, Rise.

[ Handshake? Psh. He'll do you one better by kissing Rise's hand. Take that, cultural differences. ]

I s'pose so. I have to admit, it's a crime we haven't met sooner.

[Even more charm points for Sirius! Rise blushes and giggles again.]

It certainly is! I was starting to think there weren't any cute guys in this castle.

[Oh man, this guy is dangerous. She's so used to Japanese guys, she's not sure what to do with a handsome foreigner! She's even starting to fidget with her box of chocolates behind her back now...]

[ A laugh. ]

How could it not with such a handsome rogue as yourself? Really I'm surprised the castle didn't take a fancy to you sooner than this.

[ Unfortunately for the poor sod, Sirius himself comes sauntering into the kitchen, grinning when his eyes fall upon his friend. ]

I've been looking for you!

[ He sits down and holds out one of the chocolates, smiling. ]

It looks like the box replenishes itself, but I wanted you to have the first of these. You know- chocolate addict and everything... It's double chocolate, I think.

[ Remus glances up when Sirius sits across from him, only a mild amount of irritation evident in his expression. Sirius wasn't exactly the first person Remus wanted to see at the moment, regardless of the fact that he craved attention from Sirius more than anyone else.

He raises his eyebrows and sniffs a little, sitting up. ]

That so? Thought you were too busy...

[ He shrugs, before his gaze falls onto the little offering. Obviously not one to refuse such a thing as chocolate, Remus reaches to take it from him, offering a little smile as thanks. ]

I've got my own, but thanks.

[ He laughs a little, almost pityingly. It's almost kind of cruel to be this oblivious to the problem. ]

Come on, Moony, why so sour? You should be out gadding like the rest of us.

[ Oh, hello. Those are some attention-grabbing shoes there. Don't mind Sirius, he's just going to look at the rest of her, about-face and follow after her discreetly. ]

[ He huffs and sits back, trying to ignore the way his heart hurts when he looks at him and how oblivious Sirius is. ]

I'm not a really big fan of the holiday, Padfoot, you know that.
The chocolate's probably the only good thing about it...

[ He simply shrugs as he pops the chocolate into his mouth and chews. After a moment, he stops chewing and blinks at him, an odd and yet wonderful feeling suddenly flowing through him. Remus feels compulsed to do something he hadn't ever considered doing, for fear of rejection and it's out before he's even aware of it -- ]
