Would anyone care for a box of chocolates or a cake? I will, most certainly, not be eating either.

[No one would ever catch him eating strange foods. He likes knowing what goes into his food and not trusting the castle. Not trusting the castle is a big thing.]

Good call. The chocolates are fun and all but if you don't know who you're around it might get kind of awkward

I wouldn't doubt that something has been done to them. Which is why I'll not be eating them. One person has already shown that they have some sort of effect on her.

I certainly try to keep a level head upon my shoulders. Better then to help if anything should happen. And I'd be loath to give the wood elves a bad name for what behavior it would force upon me.

I'd not wish it upon any myself but the castle, with it's willfulness, may seek to bring my king here at some point. Already it had claimed Lord Elrond and the Lord and Lady of the Golden Wood. And now it has claimed a young Hobbit from my world as well.

Nor this Lord Elrond. I do not boast knowledge of hobbits, though I have found the collection of works on your world in the library to be...interesting.

Then you are probably wise not to eat them. The Castle is as like to use faeries as treats to get people to do as it pleases.

I imagine an admirer would leave some kind of token. And I doubt I've made any type of impression upon anyone to have an admirer.

Frodo is elf-friend as well but his uncle was named so by my father. We use it to show that a person is friend to us, a good friend. I would consider those I know who are elf-friend as my kin.

I would not be opposed to having tea with you.

[Believe me, he won't. Such a personal affair he does not speak of, if at all. As far as he's concerned such acts did not transpire under his will so he's hardly culpable.

Then we should. Personally I do not mind if we did so now, given I would very much like to escape the gaudy decoration of the castle. Its ideas of what this shallow holiday are I do not fancy.
