 [Have the sounds of something scratching at the journal, meowing.  Rinzler wasn't happy waking up like this, and the collar with a bell on its neck wasn't helping things.  There's the noises of an animal turning and clawing at a door for a bit before Rinzler decided the go to the journal he knocked over earlier...  trying to get a message to stick, then getting some ink through wishing.  The is written in what appears to be claw scratches.]

Cannot open door...  Want to get out.  Castle left in room.  Loss.  No hands.

Room 329.  Help.

[OOC:  Feel free to respond in journal or feel free to come in person let the cat out.  Open and looking for CR.]

[Oh boy. Chell's been a cat herself. Does she EVER know how annoying these castle doors can be. She's vaguely impressed by the cat's ability to write though. That's one smart kitty. Without answering in the journal, she stands up and walks toward her door, and out, heading for the stairs that'll lead down to the Castle proper... The stranded cat might be able to hear the sounds of steps getting closer.]

[Rinzler lets out a yowl at the sound of the footsteps getting closer to his door. Hurry please. He wants out now.]

No hands? That's quite a morbid loss you've got there.

[Scratching into the journal, a meow in the background]

Cat.

Oh. [That would make more sense.] Then I guess it's a good thing you don't have hands.

Hang on. I'll be right over.

[Have a meow changing into a purring noise. He's happy to hear that.]

[silentrunning]

[And Chell takes off at a sprint, arriving quickly at his door. She throws it open wide. FREEDOM!]

[Rinzler steps into the hallway at that, purring and brushing against a leg. Thank you user.

[Chell grins, leans down and pets, if he'll let her... And then she actually speaks up.]

I was on cat loss once. It sucks.

She can understand cat speak, btw

[It takes a few minutes for Dairine to walk over to room 329. As she reaches the door, its nameplate catches her eye.

Rinzler. Figures.

Dairine half considers leaving him there. But he could hardly overpower her as a cat, so with a resigned sigh, she opens the door.]

[Have a cat brushing against your legs, Dairine. He meows a pleased hello to her. At least it's a familiar face, even if they don't get along well. Unfortunately, it really does feel like he loses some of his mental capability when on losses like this. Or it's just the cat form's instincts making it awkward. "Repeated loss."]

[The rubbing would be significantly more welcome if she didn't know the person, or program, behind it. Dairine watches him closely for any sudden moves.]

[Rinzler doesn't mind petting, he's actually purring at the touch. Second time for him to have this kind of animal loss. It's not so bad. And people are friendlier to cats than they are to him as himself.]

[Welp, you've earned yourself a petting partner then. She flops down on the floor and keeps petting.]

I kind of half wonder who you are, and if you're someone I know. I keep expecting to find someone I know on an animal loss. Heh. But you make a very handsome cat.

[Rinzler purrs, leaning into the petting. He likes that. And he likes the compliments.]

[IF Chell'd known who he was, she'd have still been happily petting. She likes Rinzler, both as himself and as a cat.

Rummaging into her pocket, she pulls out a tuna fish sandwich she'd intended on eating herself later and halfs it with the cat. Sometimes finding food's a pain in the rear when you're a cat.]

[Rinzler likes Chell a lot. And her's purring extra louder as he takes the tuna offered. It's good. Very good. Better than cat food. He's glad she offered it it.]

[silentrunning]

[She giggles.]

I know how sucky food finding can be. You're always welcome to anything I have.

[Brushing against her leg, purring contentedly as he finishes his sandwich. He's happy, he's got a full stomach, and he's out of his room with a friend. It really can't get much better in the circumstances.] Meow.

[silentrunning]

[And well, as if to prove him wrong, Chell scritches under his chin. She'd liked that when she was furry.]

[That's wonderful, and he's pushing his chin into the scritches, purring as loud as he can. He'll remember her.]

[There's something wonderful about cats. they are the most relaxing creatures in the world.]

[Shifts to her other leg uncomfortably.]

Not really. Just... Do you have to do that... leg rubbing thing?

[That gets a happy meow. Thank you nice human.]
