[That's all Spike needs to know -- more than, actually. He would have gone either way.]

Where do you want to meet?

Hm. Just checking but they aren't gonna send you right back here, right?

[assemblatore]

Even if they managed to catch me, I would be out again before they knew it.

[assemblatore]

In the sun room. It is quiet in there right now, but with enough others for cover.

Heh, I see.

I was gonna wait for a friend, but I'm already sick of this place. Count me in.

Bene. Another man and I are meeting in the sun room. Join us shortly for a "card game."

[Ezio will be waiting at a card table.]

[He's not hard to spot -- Spike may be old, but he's got one cybernetic eye that's as sharp as ever. He picks up a pack of cards as he walks over, making a show to open them and start shuffling when he sits across from him.]

You gamble?

[assemblatore]

[Ezio smirks.]

When the stakes are worth gambling over.

I hope this is an escape plan, because I'm going crazy in here.

[gottaknockhard]

[He likes that answer, but keeps his response appropriately cryptic.]

There's a lot on the table. A betting man might even think twice.

[assemblatore]

It is. Two others and I are meeting to discuss terms. With most distracted by the "prom" and rainfall as cover, tonight is our best chance.

Meet us at the card tables in the sun room.

[waterproofed]

[Zelos will come to the table and sit down at an open spot]

Heh, I didn't think anyone would have anything worth keeping by staying their hand.

[assemblatore]

Any man who thinks twice about betting on his family and freedom deserves to lose, I say.

[gottaknockhard]

[Spike smiles and nods to the newcomer. (He remembers hearing a story about that one, but he can't quite remember what it was.)]

Just checking. [And he stops shuffling.] How many are getting dealt in?

[wilder]

[he'll smirk in return and wait for Ezio's reply.]

There's a fourth coming, that I know of.

[Four is a good number. Spike is almost surprised more didn't jump on the chance. Although they're not all as swift as they used to be.]

Much more than that, and we'll have to go more than one round.
