[ Because Cross is such a gentleman, every female resident he knows has been sent a calla lily bouquet (either long-stemmed or short-stemmed calla lilies, you may choose which one, and feel free to choose the colour(s), too) with a small note to have a good day.
But a small time later, one bouquet makes its way back to him. He frowns, knowing it is for Lilith, but it could be Abel simply being a butthead of a not-twin and rejecting them instead lwkjert. So, Cross tries to send them off once more, and they come back again a second time.
Now Cross is up and going through the castle to figure out for sure if this is Abel's doing, or if what he is starting to think is true. A few minutes later, with the examination of a particular nameplate, his suspicions are confirmed.

Cross keeps it moving and only says something once he's back in his room. He debates writing it, but tosses his pen in favour of just dictating into the journal. ]
