Where I come from, there was an organization comprised of volunteers with knowledge in a wide variety of skills. We passed our knowledge on to as many like-minded individuals as we could, and lent our help when it was needed, gathering information about the world around us so that we could stay well-educated, as well.

I simply thought that something of its ilk would not go remiss here in Paradisa.
