Geez, the last way I expected to spend my 30th birthday was as a 22 year old. Or was it 21...? 23...? Whatever... Still feels preeeetty weird to even say the word "30" though. [yes he's mostly gotten over the weirdness he felt last year when 30 was just something on the incoming horizon, but it's still a little strange] A-Anyway, basically I'm back to normal now... in case anyone cared.

Does... Does anyone have any free time to help me uh... move back to the castle? Turns out landlords don't accept castle induced sleeps and losses as good enough reasons for missing 2 months of rent ah... haha... ha...

When you met me before...

That was a loss the castle put me on. I'm not in my 20's or a rookie.

The time it was back in our world when I came to this place was late March, 2012.

[The admission is so shocking, Rise literally forgets to get angry. But she does get confused.]

... Why does it matter?

[It's only after she's spoken that her emotiosn start to flare up again. She would have been perfectly fine with avoiding him as much as possible until the castle sent one of them home! Why does he have to suddenly come to her and admit something like this?!]

[he's honestly wondering why he's doing this too but ughhh he knows ripping this bandaid off now is better than later]

I figured it'd be better than you finding out on your own if you see me around again, especially now that I'm moving back to the castle. Better than waiting for the other shoe to drop anyway. There's no point in hiding from you kids once you realize I'm actually here.

...There's one other thing though.

She's not even sure how to react to that. Is it a good thing or a bad thing? She's sure she would have heard about it if he had gone back to being a psychotic killer or trying to reshape the world or whatever. But he's supposed to be in jail! Sure, the castle messes with people sometimes, but when it doesn't, it's way too good for him!!!]

[Yep, she kept a lid on all of that for now. Her voice isn't completely calm anymore, though. There's some kind of emotion to it, but not easily identifiable.]

[ Oh, what, landlord issues? That's no good. And she feels guilty now for ignoring him since Nanako's departure, more or less. ]

If you still want to live in the city, I currently have two properties that have recently been abandoned by residents who returned home.
