[ He offers a hand for the shaking- not that he expects him to actually shake hands with him. The way the rabbit's acting towards him reminds Sirius of the time in fourth year when Slughorn made him partner up with Frank Longbottom in Potions two days after ruining his date with Marlene McKinnon.

Needless to say, things were very tense that class period. ]
