[The theater lock-in didn't affect Mitsuru much in a negative way. She's already in her room a lot, so being trapped in the same place for days isn't much different. It was boring as hell, sure, but now that it's over, she's moving on by doing something she isn't used to. She wished for a cook book that her late friend Shinjiro from back home used to own. It was a cook book for Italian street food, with instructions on how to make pasta bowls using different types of meats, vegetables, sauces, and noodles. 

She sighs, the Kitchen is packed with the ingredients needed. She could feed a lot of people with these. She opened her journal... ] 

Hello. Would anyone be interested in trying out some of the food I made? I planned to make myself some pasta dish, but I wished for too many ingredients. It would be a shame to let these go to waste. 

In any case, this goes out to anyone interested. I have some Pinot Noir to go with it. [And some soft drinks for the minors of course]

[The current day's had Pixy in a bit of an odd state, so he stops flipping through the journal when he hears Mitsuru's voice. He lets out a small laugh.]

I can't judge my own cooking without any bias. But Pinot Noir is a type of wine.

[Mitsuru felt a little happy to hear a familiar voice. It made her smile for a second before she answered]

I certainly wouldn't mind at all.

[He gives another slight laugh.] Just had to make sure you weren't sick of me after that week in the theater.

[Yeah let's not speak of that again now.]

Where are you at?

At the kitchen. And that week wasn't terrible if you don't count certain movies. [Yeah, that's the last thing she'll say about that too]

Certain movies and the fact that the only thing we had to sustain ourselves were snacks. I would of rathered military rations after the second day.

[Aaaand he'll be wandering down to the kitchen.]

[A laugh] The chicken tenders were quite tasty. As is the vanilla soda.

[Mitsuru prepares a small table for her guest, and grabbed a bottle of that wine she talked about.]

Things tend to stop being good when that's all you have for a week.

[Granted, military rations stopped being good the minute you'd have one, but that's beside the point.

Buuuut Pixy will be wandering in a few moments later. He'll give a slight wave to her in greeting.]

Foulke. [She greeted him with a smile in response]

[He gives a bit of a smirk, though he's not looking quite as smug as usual.]

I've still got to get used to you bein' one of the few that actually knows my name.

I'm one of the few? I'm honored.

[He folds his arms and shakes his head a bit.]

Don't let that honor get to your head, kid.

[Not that there was anything TO be honored about or anything. He's never actually TOLD anyone his name anyway. The people who knew just found out through his door.]

It's a pleasure to meet you Kuranosuke. I'm Mitsuru Kirijo. It's nice to have more people from our country in this castle, not to be nationalistic or anything.

He'll take a quick glance over her shoulder and raise an eyebrow, stepping back again and folding his arms.]

Quite the selection you have there. Any personal recommendations from the cook?

[Mitsuru blinked a bit when she felt Pixy look over her shoulder. It was a new feeling]

Uhm... I would suggest the Parmesan Alfredo sauce with the steak.

Oh, no, no, I agree with you! I haven't met a lot of others yet--just got here, to be honest.

I promised wine. It's the Henri Jayer Richebourg, the most expensive wine in the world. Or at least in mine... [Mitsuru poured some of the wine on two glasses] It would be perfect to celebrate your arrival to the castle.

Well I'll just have to try that then.

[He'll take a quick look at the nearby set table then back to Mitsuru, aaaaaand smirk.]

Guess you got everything set up on your own or did you need a hand with anything?

Very well. I suppose I could have the same... But with chicken. [Mitsuru prepares two bowls full of hot pasta] I did everything myself. I wanted to learn how to prepare food for myself, and perhaps with someone else.

It certainly smells good, so that's a good sign. [Of course, anything would be better than what he had most of the time when he served as a pilot. Blegh. Military food.]

This the first time you've done any cooking of your own?

Not exactly. I used to prepare my own lunches in high school. [She handed Pixy his bowl of pasta, it was still steaming a little. Then she opened a bottle of wine and poured it in two glasses]

I lived in a dorm at the time, and there was no adult to supervise us each day and do the chores. It always came down to everyone either buying prepared food or make their own. [She's always been the type to do everything herself anyway]
