Trial 5: Take care, explorers! (Backdated to the morning of the 17th)

[Chie was looking at the window and sees everyone getting ready for the big trip. She has her journal open while she's carrying Pixy's pet Shiba Inu puppy in her arms.]

Hey everyone! Chie here. Sorry if I decided to stay. I just wasn't sure if I really wanted to go, and now I feel a little under the weather. Sheesh, of all the times... Argh! It sucks. But best of luck to all of you, really! Especially to Aradia, Ino, Jennifer, Ashura, Martel, Katniss, Pixy-san, and you Doc! Be safe and make sure to tell stories of your adventure when you all come back soon! I promise to come along in the next expedition, whenever that would be.

[The puppy whimpered] Oh, what's that? You hungry? Alright, I'll go get us some steak for breakfast! Say goodbye to everyone. Come on. [She waved the puppy's arm at the window, and it barked twice as if to say "See you later!"]

I hope I don't have to put Weiss on a diet by the time I come back.

[Kate finds Chie as she's trying to feed steak to a puppy. The scene gives Kate pause for a moment, but then she just shrugs and smiles.]

[5 is idly hanging around the lobby. He occasionally casts a forlorn glance out the window, where a fair number of his friends are among those heading out on the expedition. Seeing one familiar face who hasn't run off on a grand adventure, he makes his way over to Chie.]

Chie... I shouldn't be glad that I'm not the only one staying, should I? I was a little worried that everyone would leave without me.

[He gives her an acknowledging smile, as if to thank her for sticking around.]

No, don't worry about it Pixy-san! I got this. I plan on walking him everyday, so Weiss is gonna need some protein if he wants to be big and strong!

[He makes a brief glance over his shoulder when Chie said she could see him before he turned his attention ahead of him again.]

Oh, he's not mine. I'm just watching over him for someone. His owner is going to the expedition.

Oh yeah. I thought about going on that, but it seemed to be in good hands already. I would like to explore around Paradisa sometime, though.

I didn't want to go. I feel kind of bad, being left behind, but I really didn't want to. Going that far away from the castle would be terrifying...

Nobody even knows what's out there, from what I've heard. That's not... my sort of thing, y'know? It's not for me. I can't blame anyone who'd want to stay here, where it's safe.

[An as a blue glow surrounded Chie, a figure of a very tall and muscular woman in yellow appeared beside her]

Yeah, I wouldn't blame anyone either. All we could do now is just hope they all get back safely!
