025 Summons ❈ Dictated ❈ (Open to Action)
[If anyone is still alive and wandering the ship, they may catch a glimpse of a figure clad in purple huddled against one of the walls of the ship--directly across from one of the windows. Sheena is sitting there, staring out the glass, but although her eyes may be focused on the stars, it's not their beauty that currently has her attention. Her vision is filled instead by memories--both real and corrupted by hallucinations, and had been for several hours...
...ever since she had stopped hearing Corrine's Bell, and had started hearing his voice, repeating the things that she tried to keep in her
nightmares. Those twisted things that deep down, she knows Corrine would have never said to her; the accusations and declarations that everything is Sheena's fault and that she never should have been born or survived. And that there is only one way to correct that mistake. But, "deep down" doesn't apply right now as her nightmares have become reality once more.
SHE HAD FAILED AGAIN.
A new vision had joined the others after Colette's announcement; a certain red-head who she had called a friend and had watched die in her place in her nightmares thanks to the castle. This time, though. it's not a dream she can wake up from, but a stark reality that she had failed to protect someone she had cared about for the second, third, or however many times this had turned into. If she had her wits about her, she'd remember there's a chance he'll be back in two weeks, but her wits and logic were addled after almost three days of no sleep and remembering things the way they weren't.
One of her kunai sits besides her, ready for her to pick up so she can carry out Corrine's imagined suggestion, but first, she's got one last thing to do.]
I'm sorry.

I'm sorry.

He stops when he sees Sheena. His empathy is gone but he's not blind; he can see the pain she's living in]
They can't hear you.
no subject
no subject
Probably not, but I have to apologize.
no subject
Not in front of him.]
Danny?
no subject
Will that make it better?
no subject
Sh-Sheena?]
[The name comes out in the barest whisper.]
no subject
I don't know. It didn't before...
Doesn't mean I don't mean it.
no subject
What happened?
no subject
[Danny wasn't too sure. He was aware now that he'd been hallucinating badly through the entire thing.]
no subject
I can help.
no subject
Help? Help everyone understand?
no subject
[She's beginning to think she's doing so now...]
no subject
They'll understand.
no subject
What are you doing?
[Not demanded, but asked curiously as without realizing it, she rests her hand on her kunai.]
no subject
no subject
No. I have to do it myself. That's the only way it'll matter.
no subject
no subject
This doesn't feel right...
no subject
Don't you want to be free of your guilt? Don't you want to join your friend?
no subject
no subject
Corrine wouldn't like it if I did it like that.
no subject
[She's still struggling with her own demons right now, Danny, so forgive her.]
no subject
no subject
And who are you to decide that?!
no subject
I'm the hero.
no subject
You're not the hero! Lloyd is! He saved everyone!
[And with that, a fist comes up out of nowhere, aimed for his face.]
no subject
no subject
Why did he want to kill you?
no subject
no subject

no subject
I... I'll take you all down... with me.
no subject
[And on the last word, he'll see her locked fists coming up towards his chin.]
no subject
Where were you?
no subject
no subject
...Wish I could. Breathing hurts.
no subject
I meant don't breathe so deeply.
[She puts her arm about him even knowing he may not like it, but it's for both of them at the moment.]
I'm sorry you got hurt, Danny.
no subject
I'll be fine.
no subject
Breathing heavily, she sits back on her heels and wipes her brow before picking up her kunai.]
You're no hero...
[With that, she stands and moves somewhere else away from "the hero".]
no subject
[Feeling him tense, she rubs his shoulder lightly.]
I know you will; it's just going to hurt like hell first.
