[James sounds about as tired as you'd think as he starts to talk, taking over a chair in the clinic for the moment.]

After recent events, I feel a certain obligation to ask the castle at large for some aide for the clinic. Most notably for anyone looking to aide us, we're particularly short handed as it stands after recent events so anyone willing to lend a hand to people here would be greatly appreciated in whatever capacity. Especially those with an interest in guarding people, we could use the help in that regard in the form of guards. If you're interested please say so, we're not going to be turning away help from anyone at the moment.

[That being said and done he's just writing in a filter now, stretching out in his chair as he does.]

Alright young lady, where are you? You're not here and neither is your mother. [He takes a moment and then continues.] Just tell me you're alive please and were not over looked somehow getting you all off.

I would very much like to help the clinic, but I'm not sure how. I'd be happy to learn how to fix people up, but if there's anything else that needs doing, I'd like to give that a shot, too...

And we can always use volunteers, miss, doing what things they can for us. I'm sure we can find you something to do. Is there anything in particular you think might be helpful?

In what way, precisely?

Well, Dr. Watson, I'm...I'm a good cook. And I don't think I'd be too bad at helping comfort patients if they needed it. I wouldn't say no to a spot of cleaning, either.

I'm best suited for guard work.

[He beat up a lot of people on the Event Horizon and is kind of torn up about it, something productive to do would be a thing right about now for him.]

I could help! I actually talked to Dr. Beckett before he got sent home about helping out either here in the castle or in town, but we never really got anything set in stone. I've got some field medicine training, and I'm...well...an immortal shapeshifter who can also manipulate ambient energy, so I can help out with security, too.

I would like to be of assistance. I have an ability to heal physical wounds with my Persona, and I would like to put it to good use.

[There's a whole lot of death on Feferi's mind right now, and she's struggling to ignore it and carry on, her usual way of dealing with things. So this seems like a good way to balance it all out; at least this way, if she hurts or even kills someone, it won't be pointless. So, she sounds very enthusiastic about the whole thing.]

I can help! I am stronger than I look, so I can get people to the clinic if they need moving! I also have my culling fork with me, so I can defend other people if they need it.

I can heal little things, too, if people just want a little kelp, but I can't do anything serious. Sorry!

[He sounds something like kind at that.] We can always use the help with all of that, especially with some of he people here.

[Nothing wrong with that, and really any help is appreciated. So instead he just grins some at that and then well, that's a frown and, okay reading this is making him make a full range of comical expressions. But it doesn't show in his voice.]

Getting people to the clinic can be just as helpful as anything else as well as healing simple things. You're help would be greatly appreciated, with any of that, no need to apologize about serious things. But, ah, culling fork?

Yeah. Umm...so far I can only manipulate fire, and fire dematerializer beams from my eyes, but I'm learning more all the time. Since I've been here, I've learned how to focus and project sonic energy from my throat, by shapeshifting my diaphragm, lungs, and vocal cords so they're capable of producing a sound powerful enough to punch a hole through steel.

[You can thank Peter for that. Not that being a walking WMD doesn't pretty much come naturally to Evan.]

No, in the nearly two years I've been here this is the first time we've had such a thing be needed.

There's a couple others I need to talk with, ones I [banished from the clinic for three days.] made sure got rest, but you can start whenever you'd like. Yes, a culling fork! It's the traditional weapon for tyrian trolls. I only seem to have my ceremonial fork, instead of any of the better ones, but I'm sure it will be good enough.

[Feferi, failing to realise that humanity doesn't tend towards regular mass cullings, and therefore have no idea what a culling fork even looks like.]

[That's a face at that before he rubs at his eyes, journal in his lap.]

As are you, and you should take your own advice. [But that's another stretch.] The others will be back to work anytime they realize their time away is up, then I'll rest.

I haven't any idea where your mother is, I've been working in the clinic the last few days. [And sleeping in Mal and Nikola's room, but details.
