Good thing he has quick enough reflexes to avoid the sharp edges and hold on as the whole thing creaks and swings. Perhaps a teenager, judging by how small and slight he seems, with the sourest look on his face as he surveys the lobby.

A long blade slips off of him to nearly chop a couch in half. ]

[Muraki stares down at the weapon with a fairly dispassionate expression, privately noting how well maintained that weapon had to be, then pushes his glasses back and lifts his gaze to the chandelier]

You dropped something.

[ He stares down at the torn couch with as much interest, shooting out a grappling hook to latch on the ceiling and lower himself down by the wire. Heights don't bother him, though landing on both feet has him wincing a little. ]

Is that thing yours?

[Hm. Impressive.

He eyes the man's leg, noticing the wince. Closer up, it might be possible to tell he has a patch covering his right eye, though mostly covered by the fall of his silver hair.]

Good. I don't have the money to pay for it.

[ He has no wounds visible, and tries his best not to limp when he goes to retrieve the blade and file it away in one of the two boxes strapped against his thighs. ]

And the house?

[Maladict is lounging against a wall, sipping a cup off coffee, watching this sight idly]

[ He sends out a grappling hook to the ceiling so he can let go of the chandelier and dangle by his hips instead, lowering himself enough to look at this lady. ]

I said impressive. I've seen some fancy entrances, but that one takes the cake.

[Siiip of her coffee]

[ Appealing to his ego, he likes you already, Mal. He lowers himself all the way to the ground, bending his knees gingerly to lessen the impact. ]

Mind if I have some of that?

[Alas, there is one thing Maladict does not do and that's share her coffee]

Hel, no. You want coffee, you can go to the kitchen or wish some of your own up. I'm not that impressed.

[ He crosses his arms and stares at her some. ]

[Keep staring buddy, she'll keep sipping her coffee, taking her time to answer him]

[She gives a small shrug] That's entirely up to you, I don't care one way or the other what you do.

[ He just looks more annoyed. The bitch telling him to watch his manners... he must be all the way back in Wall Sina from the looks of it. ]

[ The mystery... He moves to point the tip of his blade at her neck, though not close enough to wound, not unless he takes a few more steps. ]

[He idly fishes in his pocket for a pack of cigarettes.]

You're standing it in. The castle is the keeper here, not the other way around. There is no way to speak to or reason with it. You are here at it's whim.

[In the blink of an eye, she moves to stand behind him, folding her arms]

[ HOLY SHIT SHE'S FAST. He whirls around, looking terribly annoyed as he crosses his arms. Fine. ]

And I don't appreciate being kept in the dark. Answer me.

[ He crosses his arms. ]

'Pets', is maybe a better term. [He fishes out a cigarette and repockets the pack]
