What is the purpose of these explosions? Does anyone know? Is this normal?

They could just be shooting off fireworks without knowing it's a holiday in America.

I don't think it's a coincidence. I think that this world mimicks certain things from other places. Holidays, cities, things like that.

For what purpose? It cannot hope to fool us into thinking we are truly in these places.

It has in the past. I think we know better now, but it's unsettling to realize that this place can imitate our worlds so precisely.

If it is able to take memories away from us and turn us into things we are not, I do not think illusions would be so difficult.

This world is where this god is powerful, and it can do anything it likes. Perhaps this is why it took us here to begin with, if it has no power in the places where we all belong.

Some people think that we are the source of this world's power.

I think there are still mysteries to explore, and that to conclude anything at this point would be hasty.

It was a private school. But I also enjoy reading outside the curriculum, and I remember everything I read.
