[It's not the worst thing that's ever happened to her in the castle, but it is very annoying.

Vereesa doesn't mind the clothes so much. She's grown accustomed to the different styles of clothing from other residents. She hasn't exactly seen this style before, nor does she know who it belongs to, but it isn't terrible. It's much lighter and more comfortable than her armor, that's for sure.

But is the wig necessary? She's never seen herself with anything other than her long, silver hair. The short, blonde wig is a bit unnerving. In a way it reminds her of her sisters, not including the length, but that's only a small comfort. The constant itching of the wig is what she finds most annoying. The wig and that damned black lipstick that won't come off.

She's sitting at a table in the dining hall with her journal open in front of her and a cup of coffee in her hands.]

I believe it's safe to presume that any make up we did not willingly apply is not going to come off as well, correct?

[She scoffs as she pulls her mug away from her lips and sees black on the rim of it.]

Honestly, who paints their lips black?

Oh snapplecakes. [ There is nothing quite like seeing someone else completely ganking you're style. It is very hard to keep the giggle out of her voice as she responds. ] What a hottie, you totes pull it off. Not everyone can pull off a style like that, you know.

Not everyone has the desire to pull it off, either. [She smudges the lipstick from the mug. Why does it come off there but not her own lips!!]

I am sure it works for others, but-- Being so fair of skin and hair normally, it seems distracting. As if I'm calling attention to them.

That's kind of the point. Stop worrying about it, it looks fine on you. Especially with that bombshell blond you got going on there. [ Low whistles. ] Totes digging the hair style too. Man, whoever you stole your style from sure knows how to look good. I bet she gets all the dudes and dudettes. You too will now now what it's like to get them as well.

[Vereesa stares at the journal for a moment before setting down her mug and folding her arms in front of her.]

[ Mock-gasp and shock! ] Who? Me? What would ever give you that idea?

Oh, you know, lucky guess. Or could it be your enthusiasm for a look I've not entirely described and yet you've acknowledged?

Busted big time. Oh well. Now I gotta know, are you the total hottie with the hair and ears? Because I could get used to this.

Are you enjoying the armor? Be careful not to hurt yourself on the edges of my shoulder armor.

Pfffft. What do you take me for, a child? I may not be an armor master, but I've played enough video games to figure out how this works. I gotta say, you got some style yourself. I could get used to the hair too.

[There's a chuckle. Silly young human!]

It would have to be. I cannot say I'd do this of my own volition.

It's uh, I guess you could call it a kind of lifestyle? Mostly it involves wearing a lot of black.

So then it's simply a person that wears black? Are labels often applied to those that dress a certain way?

Really? Never felt like dressing up differently for a day just for the hell of it?

Gotta admit, I'd kinda like to do the same. Though I'm p confident in my mental of you in my clothes. And it's pretty hot, though if you wanna meet up I wouldn't be opposed.

Yeah. All sorts. Goths, preps, punks, jocks...things like that. They tend to tell other people what sort of things you're into or how much money you have. Well, there's kind of more to it than that, but it's the easiest way to describe it. Of course, because they're really general like that, they're not exactly accurate. Like all goths aren't the same at all, but some people might say they are because of the label.

[ Hallow's End? Funny way of saying Halloween. ]

I don't know. I don't think so. Not very neatly anyway. But it's probably harder to see yourself the way other people might.

[ Whatever it meant, Roxy is there shortly. There is a certain stride to her walk as she holds her head just a little higher than she normally would. ]

[It's a bit strange to see someone wearing her armor. She would make a fuss of it if the young girl wasn't wearing it so well. She sees that straight back and confident stride. Maybe some of her elf essence is rubbing off on her.]

And you wear that quite well. Perhaps not as well as a seasoned ranger, but well enough.
