Vongola XXVII -- Dictated

[He should have asked this two days ago, really, but he kind of got.. distracted. Also, procrastinating like a boss and hoping he wasn't jinxing it. But now he's kind of curious.]

Just out of curiosity-- what's the longest anyone has seen a loss last?

[In other words, hi guys, he's still here.]

Pressing work to do in Paradisa? I didn't know you were going into comedy, Nonno.

[Chidingly:] We can't celebrate in the library, Nonno! No, how about... It's nearly lunch time, so why don't we go and eat out?

Tsuna

[He's become far too used to his grandson chiding him like that, so all he does is laugh and agree.] All right, all right! I'll come out to lunch with you. Where would you like to meet?

Nonno

[not_mafia]

Hmm... you remember where the fountain is? [You know, the one where Ino set the two of them up forever ago?]

Tsuna

[is_mafia]

Of course I remember. How could I forget?

I'll meet you there in a few minutes.

[After getting on a nice pair of pants and a light long-sleeved shirt, Tsuna heads out of the house. He realized at the last minute they probably needed money and just kind of scrambled some cash together/borrowed some from Ino or Gale or something and hastily put them in one of his pockets before he went to the fountain to wait for his grandfather.]

[Giotto made his way to the fountain from the castle, and smiled when he saw Tsuna waiting for him. He walked over to him, and couldn't help but give him a tight hug.]

...This seems slightly familiar.

[Since they had met here once before. Giotto had been the one waiting, of course, but the comparison still stood.]

[He remembers it, too. How honestly he'd been afraid of Giotto dismissing him as a total failure and screw-up. But the man had forgiven his shortcomings and paranoia, and had come to genuinely care about and support him.

For all of his own faults and regrets, Tsuna held Giotto right next to his heart, and he hugs him tightly back.]

But only slightly. I've little intention of avoiding you or running away this time.

That's good. [Giotto pulls away slightly to favor Tsuna with a bright smile. He was so happy, how things had turned out between them. He hadn't been sure what to expect when they finally became on good terms with each other, but this was possibly the best outcome he could have imagined.] Since if you did that would make having lunch together a bit difficult.

I imagine it would!

Now, I know I was the one who suggested eating out, but... I have to admit, even though I've been here for a year I've barely gone out to eat. So, unless you have a particular place in mind, I suppose we'll just have to walk around until we find something that looks nice.

[is_mafia]

Well, neither have I, so I suppose we'll just have to wander around until we find some place.

[He slips his hands into his pockets.] I have no idea what you like to eat, though.

[not_mafia]

[Tsuna picks a direction and starts walking.]

Maybe there's something like a good Japanese restaurant around here? I haven't had Japanese in awhile...

It's been a while for me, too. I only visited there once for a month or so and that was a few years ago.

On business, I'm guessing?

You could say that, yes. [He doesn't elaborate on that.]

There's so much traveling involved... I'll admit I've felt overwhelmed quite a few times, having to go to three different countries in one day. It wasn't usually that bad, of course, but still...

...Three different countries? [Sorry, that's slightly impossible in his time, Tsuna.]

Ah... yes? I mean, they were all bordering one another, I think.

Well, still. I forget sometimes you have cars and things like that.
