[He'd never outright accuse one of stealing but once in a while one got in the habit of 'collecting' things. Usually random unimportant stuff. He drifted downward into the floor to look under her bed.]

[Thanks for sparing her that, or asking if she always slipped her hand under her pillow to rest over the locket in her sleep. Because she did but it would be embarrassing to admit. But she couldn't very well wear it with the broken clasp and all, she'd been there when the accident happened and haunted by it ..not as literally as now, but emotionally for some time after. It was in one of those moments of grief she'd held too tightly to the locket and broken the clasp. She just couldn't bring herself to let it go or art with it to have it fixed. Stupid family heirloom that couldn't just be magically fixed.]
