[Molotov has gotten out of the practice of meditation, over the years. Being busy at home, being distracted in Paradisa, it takes one away from remembering to focus. And recent months have been the most stressful that she can remember. Between the still-contained horror from space, her friends leaving left and right, and repeated run-ins with obnoxious residents, Molotov needs to sink back into herself.
But Molotov doesn't turn to yoga or tai chi for her center. Running is helpful, but it's not enough. No, Molotov returns to her roots for meditation -- gymnastics.
Most people probably wouldn't understand, but Molotov finds tranquility in endless loops around the uneven bars, in holding a handstand as long as possible on the beam, in corkscrewing in the air from a simple jump on the floor.
In fact, she feels amazing when she takes a momentary break, sitting cross-legged on the floor and sweating. Enough so that she wants to extend the feeling. She grabs her journal, and opens it to write simply:]
Would anyone be interested in gymnastics lessons from an Olympian?
