[There are some ink dots from pentaps and a few started words or sentences that are scribbled out, before Jennifer finally decides on what she wants to say. Because this is a very difficult thing for her to ask, as she's still conflicted about wanting it in the first place, but after the false starts, she writes:]

I'm interested in brushing up on my self-defense skills. I know some hand-to-hand combat and how to use a gun, but I've gotten really rusty. If anyone would be willing to teach me... I don't have much to offer in return except teaching first aid, but I would appreciate it a lot.

It couldn't hurt- I've never used a sword before aside from, well, stabbing an enemy creature with it, but I have done staff fighting.
