I've got a question to ask and it's really important. Has anyone seen a piece of parchment lying around anywhere? It's an important map of mine and I've lost it within the city somewhere. The town square I think. If anyone has seen the map or knows of what I speak of; please can you get in contact with me. I am currently searching within a large open area, which is close by to the main square. There are a lot of people carrying baskets of fruit and things. Please could you meet up with me if you find the parchment.

Remus, Hermione, Professor Dumbledore? You know what I mean. It's the Marauder's Map and I can't find it anywhere. I really need to get it back, as you know how important it is to me. I can't believe I lost it. I think it fell out of my back pocket when I bumped into someone accidentally. It was somewhere near the town square where I dropped it. I think. I know powers do not work within this city, so I have to rely on word of mouth and myself. No Summoning charms.

[So, Harry wasn't exactly looking where he was going, when he stumbled into a Florence local. They were also carrying a basket of apples, which went everywhere.]

I don't know if you're aware, but I thought I'd mention given that your post sets your character in the castle: We have been running a Florence plot this past week, meaning the characters are currently in Renaissance Florence, not the usual castle setting. You may want to keep on top of plots in the OOC Comm, as participating in castle-wide events is a good opportunity to build CR.]

I have changed my post forthwith and I hope it makes much more sense now. By the way, I think you've done a great job with this plot and put a lot of time into it. Very accurate to the AC games and history.]

Where abouts are you within the city?

Time does strange things, Hermione. Of course, you know all about that. [He sighed. Harry was in a strange country with no magic. He felt rather vulnerable and like a Muggle. Or before he knew he was a wizard.]

The Palazzo? Is that in the town square? [He was never one for geography.]

"Palazzo" is Italian for a large public place. Sorry, I should've been more specific.

Of course. I didn't know you were fluent in Italian, Hermione. [Yep, he's teasing.] Ok, I'll meet you there.

[A few moments later and after some cursing about getting lost, Harry eventually made it to the Palazzo. He looked around to see if he could spot Hermione and he did, after a long search.]

I thought I got lost again. This place is huge.

[Hermione waves to him, forced to walk slowly because of her period clothing. But she seems to be taking it pretty well]

Now I have a proper gentleman to act as my escort.

Oh, is that what this is about? [He couldn't help smirk. Oh, Hermione. It felt like the Yule Ball all over again.]

That's how the society works in these days. Along with the dress, actually. Everything from the way my hair's done to my shoes is how they would wear it in this time period.

I know and I think it looks great. All done without magic, am I right? [Harry knew about how powers and magic didn't work within the city.]

I remember the attention to detail you created on yourself at the Yule Ball. Do you remember that?

I was nervous, all right? Going to a fancy party with an older boy... [she gives him a look, playfully slapping his shoulder] Like you boys didn't work just as hard to look nice.

Ron's face when he tried on his dress robes. A picture. He said that he smelt like dead cats for weeks afterwards. I don't think he'll ever live that down. [Ron's face was a picture when Professor McGonagall first clapped eyes on Ron in his dress robes.]

The older boy being Viktor Krum. Not everyday a girl gets to dance with him.

I feel bad I didn't get to talk with him much at Bill's wedding. It was nice to see him again, though, wasn't it? I'm glad we kept in touch.

Yeah, well no one expected a load of Death Eaters to show up at the wedding, just after the announcement that the Minster had been killed. Viktor was on his usual form though. Quiet and brooding, am I right?

I found him to be quite eloquent, actually. But you should know that: you got the idea about the wands from him.

Yes, I did. He is also one of the best Seekers in the world, if not the best. I do like him, it's just that Ron was so jealous of you and him. [That was in the past now and they had grown up a lot since then. Sort of.]

So, how are you finding Florence? I have gotten lost so many times it's not even funny.

[she'll just drop the subject. It was a long time ago, and she made it pretty clear how she felt about Ron's jealousy back then]

I think it's brilliant. This isn't the first time we've time-traveled when we visited other worlds, but it's always exciting to be a part of it for a while.

It's the first time for me and I have to say I am slightly disorientated. That a castle can change into a whole city. It just doesn't seem possible. [Anything is possible, right?]

What other worlds have you been to here, Hermione?

Loads. I remember we went to Paris for my first Christmas. I got to be an intern at a museum... It was wonderful. We've been to islands and even a senior living center.

An intern? Wow, Hermione. [He really is taken aback. Will he become anything as important as you have, Hermione? Who knows.]

A senior living centre? As in an old people's home?

Yes, we were all... older. It was an interesting experience.

I don't like the sound of becoming really old within the castle. I suppose magic can't help when these events happen.

Sadly he's not in Florence right now, but he was in the castle for a bit. I wish I could've spent more time with him...

We have her majesty Queen Anne Boleyn in the castle now, and for a bit her daughter Elizabeth was here as well.

Aliens? Are you really being serious? I can hardly believe it. I thought having Draco Malfoy around was bad enough and Horcruxes. [More staring.]

Against these aliens and demons....could you use magic against them?

It's a place called Gallifrey. He calls himself the Doctor. You really should meet him.

The Doctor? I've never heard of any alien doctors before. [He can't help but smile.] Perhaps I will.

No, not a doctor. It's his name. You'll understand when you meet him.

He's called the Doctor? Ok. I suppose that isn't the strangest name I've ever heard for someone. So, what does he look like?

That depends on when you meet him. One time he's blonde, another time he likes to wear bow ties and fezzes, and... erm, Harry? He looks a lot like Barty Crouch, Jr.
