Today I have been in this place for a year. There is still much I do not understand about its ways as well as the ways of the people who live here, including all of you. There are times where I think I am adjusting, where I think I am understanding, but then something happens and it is clear that I am not.

I am not sure if I will ever understand.

I do not intend to do anything except prevent unneeded bloodshed. There is no power here for him to seek to control, and so any feud that is between us is largely moot.

Moot for you perhaps. I can not say I feel the same way about it.

Then your hunger for blood is blinding you to the ways of this world. What is the point in eliminating them if they pose no threat? To us or to the people here.

You are too quick to pronounce him harmless, this is where we differ. I am not sure he truly poses no threat.

What threat does he pose? There are no politics here, no leaders. He can neither influence nor assume power here because there is none. Leave him be, Brother.

I do not know what kind of danger he might pose but where ever there are people the possibility exists. I will stay my blade for now, but I can not ignore that he is here.

I do not ask you to ignore him. I ask you not to wantonly kill. So long as you will not do this thing, then we will have no problems.

If you are as familiar with the Assassins as you seem to claim then you would know already we do not wantonly kill. If I chose to act there would be a reason.

Then let me be clear. Should my enemies arrive I would kill them without hesitation, but any who are not involved, all innocents, will be spared.

If this man you speak of lives a quiet life without attempting to resurrect the Templar Order or harm any of the residents then he has nothing to fear from me.

He is not your enemy if he has not even done anything. But fine. I hold you to your word. If you initiate a conflict, we will have problems.

I have come to learn Templars are rarely friends and rarely are they innocent.

You are very quick to give orders and to threaten. Be careful that does not end up making enemies where there were none before.
