If anyone needs a quick solar charge, I can generate some sunlight, but it'll only last for a few seconds. I'll be on the roof, so let me know. It'll take all of my energy, so I can only do it once.

[It was surprising enough that he wasn't dead already, but he wasn't going to risk the hope that the castle was somehow keeping him alive.]

Huh? [did that pony just call him a plural plant?] No...?

I'll be up on the roof pretty soon then.

[He heads to the roof immediately to wait. He paces back and forth, clearly a bit tense.]

[he'll arrive a few minutes later]

Oh! You're already here...

[He stops pacing and glances at him.]

Yeah, I mean why wait? It's...kind of important for me.

I understand. If I don't get enough sunlight myself, I start to lose power.

[he pauses]

Is this everyone?

Plants need sunlight to live, but most animals should be able to sustain themselves for a time without it.

[finally turning to look at him]

What's a solar charge?

[He tries to grin put it looks more like a grimace.]

If I don't get enough sunlight, I lose and die.

[He looks around.]

I guess so.

W--Well I can live without it, but it's just a very easy source of energy for me...

A solar charge... [how to explain...] Is when you absorb the energy of the sun and turn it into your own.

[he gives Apollo a sympathetic look as he suddenly is grateful he's part Lunar]

It's a very good energy source!

I release all the solar energy I have stored up to make a sort of temporary mini sun! It's a technique called the Rising Sun. It's good for ambushing several undead monsters in a large area who aren't expecting an early sunrise.

I haven't heard anyone talking about that!

Well... I hear it's very hard to harness, so most cultures have yet to achieve it...
