14th Car | Loss discovery [Accidental Dictation]

[So Aaron has gotten increasingly bored at the castle. He had nothing to do during the days, other than walking and playing with Clyde, and know that Tucker had vanished he didn't have a mate to hang out with either. So he had wished for an Xbox, some games and a TV. However as he tried to put the attachment for the TV on the wall he couldn't. Every time he tried to use the drill it refused to start. Getting exasperated he wished up a hammer and tried to nail the bloody thing onto the wall. But as he tried the hammer slipped right out of his steady grip... and fell down on his foot. He cried out in pain as it landed.]

Blasted thing! Shite, shite... Ahhh, damn it. Soddin' hammer.

[Once the pain had subsided Aaron had tried a few more times before he finally gave up. He then directed the journal with a lot of sarcasm.]

Lucky me huh. Looks like I found out what my flamin' loss was. Chuffin' castle. Anyone around to help me out with something I can't seem to do because of this flippin' loss?

[Steps aside to let Wade in.] So the telly is over there by the bed. The attachment probably lies around 'ere somewhere.

[Church shows up a few minutes later. A half scowl on his face to demonstrate that he'd really rather be somewhere else. Even though he has nowhere else to be and really has no problem helping out.]

So what's this thing you can't do?

Use tools. [Points over his shoulder at the flat TV he can't put up cos of the attachment which lies on the floor. Tools are spread around the room. Nothing Aaron had tried had helped.] Trying to put up a tell but I can't attach the attachment the tell needs to rest in.

Not telling anyone anything. The television, y'know the thing you can watch programs on? Or maybe you don't have that in the future. It needs to rest in an attachment which needs to get nailed to the wall.

It's called XBox 360 but yeah it's a "game box". I haven't heard about that game though so no, I haven't played it.

Yeah. Technology has advanced some since the Nintendo 64. That TV is much slimmer than an old TV and has better definition.

Only problem is that it needs to get attached to the wall.

Alright. I think I can do this, but maybe it's best if you walk me through it.

Alright. You'll need to use the drill to make the holes which the screws should go in through.

[She picks up the drill and experimentally revs it, smiling]

[Aaron picks up the attachment and holds it up against the wall. He the points at the four holes screws should go in through.]

[He gets the TV up... but it's just a fraction of a hair off. Not enough to really notice but enough that it subconsciously registers as 'off'.]

I think I've played that game actually. But it goes by Grand Vehicle Steal where I'm from. Odd but I guess it's because we're from different worlds. It's a fun game regardless of its name.
