You know, I always feel like February is kind of the short changed month. Don't get me wrong, I get the whole Leap Year thing that goes on, keeping the calendar consistent without adding some bizarre fourth of a day and sending the world into chaos, but on a regular year it only gets what... twenty-eight days? You'd think some of those months with a full thirty-one could spare a day or two here and there. It's not like they're really hurting for extra slots here.

Pee ess, not a huge fan of the redecorating, but what else is new?

Think about it for a minute. I'm sure there's some obscure, historical reason why some months get more days than others, but you'd think they'd be able to fix that before it became some weird, set it stone rule of life.

You might think that, but no... no there really isn't. See, there were some studies done about ignoring obnoxious kids to get them to behave. I'm putting these theories to the test... on the castle.

I don't know, it'd be pretty hard for me to ignore an obnoxious kid who set some kind of weird tigerdillo on me.

A tigerdillo. Except not a tigerdillo. I think someone called it a tiger?

Right, taking the sensible dillo part out of the tigerdillo.

I don't know, it's a... tigerdillo. Can you tell me what a tiger is?

In absolute terms, how many days there are in a month matters little to the concept of time.

Sure it's a big, stripy cat that likes to eat things. ... Things including people.

Well sure, but it still matters to the layout of my yearly calendar.

Well, a tigerdillo is like that. Except it's a tigerdillo.

So basically it's a tiger... but with a different name?

No, it doesn't look exactly like that thing the castle set on me, if that's what you mean. It's got a hard shell for a back, and it's shorter.

[ he would explain that it's a cross between a tiger and an armadillo, except armadillos don't exist. avataaaaaaar. ]

[ Luckily enough, Peter is well aware of what an armadillo is, and it doesn't take a lot of brain power to put the name and the description together. ]

So it's like an armadillo and a tiger managed to spawn? ... I'm not sure which one I feel worse for in this situation.

If you say so? Feel sorry for the armadillo; from what I've seen of tigers, they aren't the friendliest.

Armadillos are also about the size of a cat, so...

Yikes. You sure it's not better for me to be prepared?

There isn't really any way to "prepare" for this place.

I don't know. Even if the castle doesn't do repeat performances, or whatever, I like to know what came before.
