[Alexis's voice sounds small and exhausted when it comes through the journal.]

Has.. anyone had any problems with reading since that whole... thing with the spirals happened?

Every time I read for more than like 20 minutes I get this sudden, really bad migraine.

[She's laying on her bed in her room in the dark with a cold compress on her forehead. Earlier she took some pain relief tablets she had wished for, but they're not seeming to help.

This is not good.]

I haven't heard of that happening to anyone. Do you remember when it started?

Normally when something like the spirals happens, all the effects should disappear at the same time as the main events end.

There aren't usually any permanent effects. [He trails off as he sinks deep in thought.]

Unless you were injured somehow, the only other examples I can think of are the losses.

This may be a weird question, but had you done a lot of reading here before all that?
pompous_today: (hmm)

[personal profile] pompous_today 2014-04-20 11:49 pm (UTC)(link)
... That is odd. Did you hit your head or suffer any other injuries as of late that you can remember?

No, I mean... after you got here, but before the spirals?
preformthisneigh: (Dresses real neat)

[personal profile] preformthisneigh 2014-04-21 12:19 am (UTC)(link)
Oh. Well, that's weird. There's a clinic here, maybe you should get somepony to take a look at you?
deductiongeek: (backwards glance)

[personal profile] deductiongeek 2014-04-21 12:52 am (UTC)(link)
You didn't know your loss before?
pompous_today: (focused)

I would definitely not rule it out. Staring at that pattern is enough to many anybody dizzy.
deductiongeek: (resents)

[personal profile] deductiongeek 2014-04-21 01:49 am (UTC)(link)
Trial and error. That's the best anyone has managed to figure out. If it doesn't go away, then its probably your loss.

I dunno, I've always had problems with reading.

No I haven't had any trouble reading since the spirals and I was off my rockers in fear.

You're probably getting sick.
