[Bonnie has spent most of her morning in the castle kitchen baking cupcakes. It was a new hobby of hers and she was enjoying it a lot. She was currently waiting on her fifth batch to be cooked, the other batches all neatly set out and beautifully decorated. Before this, Bonnie would never have considered baking to be relaxing in the slightest and yet she felt at peace when she was in the kitchen.

There were around fifty cupcakes in total and the final batch would take it up to about sixty. Much too many for Bonnie to eat. After switching off the oven and taking out the last batch to cool, she cleaned her hands and opened her journal to announce:]

Free cupcakes! Come to the kitchen if you want one!

[she glances up and offers him a smile.]

No catch. Just made too many cupcakes for one person to eat.

[ he surveys her army of cupcakes. ]

No kidding. Stress-baking?

What kind of cupcakes?

Vanilla and chocolate with pink frosting. Some have white frosting.

[bonniewitch]

Actually, it's not related to stress. I like making them and I figured people would appreciate something sweet.

[blabs]

[ hmm.... ]

I haven't had lunch yet...

Pretty nice of you.

[Bucky doesn't even comment over the journal, he just appears in the kitchen, sneaking up on her and taking a cupcake.] Hey, Bonnie.

[bonniewitch]

Nothing wrong with a cupcake for lunch.

Thanks. Go ahead and take a few by the way.

[bonniewitch]

[She nearly jumped out of her skin at that, turning to look at him.] Bucky, you scared me there. Jeez. [And now she recovers.]

[and here's a blue filly peering into the kitchen, sniffing at the delicious smells.]

Really?

[blue_sniper]

[He's very quiet when he wants to be.] What have you been up to? Other than baking cupcakes.

Recently? I was locked in a room for a few days with a stranger leading up to Valentines, I've been working and stayed in my room on the day the castle went crazier than usual.

[bonniewitch]

[bonnie turns to see the filly looking into the kitchen and yeah, she thinks she's cute.]

Hey there. Yeah, they're free. You can have one.

[then she realises that this is probably one of the ponies who spike warned her about.]

[blue_sniper]

Did that too. He was pretty nice. Though, nobody warned me about the Castle being crazy. I wandered into the lobby. That was...interesting. [And panic-inducing, just a bit.]

[bonniewitch]

Yeah, mine was nice as well. I don't think anyone was really warned about it beforehand; it just kinda happened and chaos. What happened to you then?

[blue_sniper]

The lobby was all...wrong. It looked like someone had taken and melted it, stuck a few more stairs in, a couple of floating things, and splashed it with every color of paint ever. [Basically, an impressionist painting in real life.] One of the stairs disappeared underneath me and I actually tripped down the stairs.

Okay, I'm sold. I'll be there in ten!

[jetset]

[ he snatches one up. ]

What can I do for you in return?

[bonniewitch]

Enjoy the cupcake? [A smile.] I'm not really asking for anything in return but thank you.

Woah. That is it's own special brand of crazy right there. Were you okay? You didn't hurt yourself did you? [She's being a concerned friend.]
