[ so, jet is walking up to his room with dro, right? and he's casually flipping through the journal, reading through anything interesting that catches his eye--

and then suddenly... he's not there.

the journal drops to the floor. dro instantly goes on alert, because what the fuck, growling deep and low. after a second, he picks up jet's journal in his mouth, and goes looking for him. ]

[ ooc; loss start. you pick the place when you tag, and assume that jet has just appeared out of nowhere wherever your character is. dro will be roaming the hallways looking for him, so if you wanted to run into a giant tigerdog, that is a thing that can also happen. c: ]

[ well, this is certainly going to be awkward.

a shaggy haired teenager appears next to the bathtub. his sudden displacement disorients him, and he takes a moment to regain his balance before-- ]

What the heck??

[ ffffffff-- he stumbles, but it's a closet, so he luckily doesn't have far to stumble. incredulously: ]

Wh-- Again?!

[ he bangs on the door; i'm assuming it's locked from the outside haha ]

[mom_to_us_all]

[Sleeping under a table at the library--don't hit your head and wake her up by all means!]

[ this time, the castle is kind enough to land him flat on his back in his new destination. great.

he doesn't hit his head, thankfully, but that thump must have made a bit of noise. jet tenses up a little as soon as he sees the giant white wolf, a few feet away from him. ]

[Perks her ears, opens one eye and closes it again.

...

Huh?! Opens both eyes and gets up quickly! What you doing down here man!? Growls lowly, just in case.]

[jetset]

[ just his luck... a wolf in the library and he lands right next to it.

he stays on his back for a few more seconds before moving into an upright position, slowly and carefully. his hands are moving for his back, where his swords are strapped, just in case the animal turns out to be feral or hostile. ]

[takethat]

[Sitting in a booth at the Lux, Phoenix is kind of trying to get wasted--though he's not managed to yet. Still, he's been through a few drinks, and is also idly drawing in a sketch book.]

[jetset]

[ this time, jet has the good luck to land seated, right next to phoenix, in fact. he looks more pissed off than surprised this time, as he slams a fist onto the counter. ]

Damn it, Paradisa!

[takethat]

[Phoenix jumps at the sudden explosive appearance of someone he's never met before, but at the exclamation against Paradisa, he shakes his head.]

[ he turns to the guy, still scowling, but tries to relax. it's not his fault paradisa is punting him all over the place. ]

Yes. If this is a loss, it's the stupidest loss ever.

Might as well just roll with it.

[Easy for him to say. He hasn't really had a lot of bad luck here yet, all things considered.]

Kinda hard to do that when I barely get the chance to catch my breath in between getting transported all over the place. [ a beat. ] Yeah, I am. Where is this?

Perks her ears and tries to look behind him, no longer growling but actually curious.]

...so this isn't the first place you've been suddenly transported to lately?

[jetset]

[ not growling is good, yes, he is not looking forward to having a hand bitten off. he slowly gets to his feet... and quickly unstraps his swords, keeping his eyes on the animal. ]

Right... [ he looks around, for the first time. ] You know, I've never actually been in here.

[ and then he pays attention to the last question, and facepalms a little as he remembers. ]

No. The fourth. I first ended up in some lady's bathroom.

[takethat]

A lady's bathroom?

[He laughs at that. Mmkay, so he's just the slightest bit tipsy.]

How'd that turn out?

[jetset]

[ gosh phoenix it's like five o'clock. he shrugs, a little grumpily. ]

It could've been worse, I guess. I'm not even going to bother moving; if you see me disappear suddenly, you know what happened.

[takethat]

[he has reasons for drinking at least in his opinion okay it's five o'clock somewhere]

...so what's your name?

[jetset]

I'm Jet.

[ he pauses, and then puts his hand out for a shake, because apparently that's a thing that people do. ]

Who're you?

[takethat]

[He returns the shake with a grin.]

I'm Phoenix. Phoenix Wright.

[jetset]

Like the bird?

[takethat]

Yeah... yeah, like the bird. It was my mom's idea...

[He rolls his eyes with a smile.]

Most people just call me Nick for short.
