How are you holding up? [there's an unspoken "safe and sound, I hope" at the end, because, well, knowing someone can take care of herself and concern over well-being are separate things in her book]

[she knows better than to walk around alone when a possible threat is on the loose, so Shizuru has been in her room, weapon in hand, keeping her eyes peeled for the moving shadow-blob she's spotted a few times already. The door is left ajar, just in case. Well. It's a precaution she best not need.
The open journal catches the thunk of falling metal against carpet, and then --
movement, fast despite its stops and starts --
she's faced moving bullets, but this is pesky on another level altogether. She gets a few hits in, not that they're going to be of any help when]
