[ENTЯY 01] - an accidental dictation
Apr. 10th, 2012 12:15 pm[Ari was dead, and then he wasn't. Not that this hasn't happened to him before, but he distinctly remembered that he wasn't supposed to be brought back to life this time. The thought occurred to him that maybe he was in heaven or something, but if he was then heaven really sucked. His neck still hurt and his wings still really hurt and if he was supposed to be dead then they wouldn't hurt anymore. Or at least they shouldn't. It only seemed fair.
But when Ari opened his eyes and looked around his new room he was even more confused. He should have known that the lack of antiseptic smells meant that he wasn't in the school, but this was much nicer then any room he's ever been in. Everything was pretty and quiet and the bed felt nice and even though the window made it a little bright for his sensitive eyesight it wasn't that bad.
It took a minute for his brain to register that there was a book next to him. It was still kinda sluggish after being dead and all. But he saw A-R-I on it and he could remember that was how Max said his name was spelled. Even though he couldn't read he opened it up anyways just to see what was inside. But when he did open it up he was immediately disappointed that all there was in there was a bunch of words that he couldn't even read and that wasn't helpful at all. He growled, frustrated and thoroughly confused now. Maybe whoever brought him here was making fun of him since he can't read.]
Just my luck. It figures I'd only get a stupid book.
[Ari still didn't know where he was or why he was even alive so he threw the useless book across the room and the satisfying smack it made when it collided with the wall made him feel a little better. What he didn't realize was that the book was magical and he could have heard what had been written down even if he couldn't read. Or that it was also recording all of this when he opened it up. Even if it couldn't take pictures of the extreme close up of his warped, wolfy face, or get an aerial view of flying across his room. It could at least capture his gravely voice and the very loud smack as it hit the wall and landed page first onto the floor. As well as the muffled recordings of Ari pacing around his new room as if looking around enough would somehow help him figure everything out. He wanted to know what was going on and he wanted to find Max again.]
