Hey, Rose. It's Hellboy. [in case that wasn't obvious! he's treating this like an answering machine, fff]

I was wondering if you were busy next month, around the 29th? Let me know.

Easter's coming up pretty soon. For those of you who weren't here last year -- or ... I guess were "indisposed" or however you want to call it, the castle gave us a bunch of plastic eggs to fool around with.

You guys think we're getting something like that again? Or maybe we'll get Passover or something this year. Paradisa seems to be trying to be more inclusive lately, anyway. Not sure why that is, or what its reasonings are ...

Still. I wouldn't mind those little marshmallow birds. I think I could live with that.

[Here is a serious response. This is a serious response.]

Peeps?

[Yeah, I mean-- you got to really consider the marshmallow sweetness there.]

What's the big deal about them, anyway?

I am sure you could request them at any time.
kalinda: (But it didn't matter)

[It's a great pastime, ok?]

I wasn't aware it was a prominent tradition.

[ These magic books were still really weird to Chell, which meant a lot considering the strange things she had seen. The deep voice that came out wasn't as surprising as what he was talking about. Plastic eggs and marshmallow birds? ]

[ Her handwriting is lacking, but readable if you kinda squint and tilt your head. ]

'Easter? Are the birds alive or dead?'

Too bad. Birds can be useful. Are they good? Marshmallow birds.
kalinda: (You left)

[personal profile] kalinda 2012-03-23 08:58 pm (UTC)(link)
I am. [SIGH.] I just don't really think of them as a tradition, just something seasonal, like those Cadbury eggs.

They're really not. They're more like optional confections that just so happen to appear for the holiday season.

[CRAZY OFFENDS HER she is taking this to tumblr!!!!! ...except not really.]

It's fact. A person doesn't need to celebrate a certain holiday to sample its treats. And I'm sure either one can be obtained during the off-season as well.

I'm from Earth's twenty-first century, and we have the luxury of the internet to purchase these kinds of things.

[Pause.] Also, I am pretty sure that there Halloween Peeps now, too.
kalinda: (We made plans to meet)

It's another holiday whose celebrations rely on sharing candy-- where would be the sacrilege?
