Alright. I know there's been talk about a book club or whatever for a while. But, like a lotta things here, it seems like a lot of "we should" and "we'll do" and not enough "let's DO this."

So. This is me. Doing this.

I found a book in the library that looks pretty cool and if anyone else wants to read it, too, just let me know and I'll have the ghosts bring you a copy. It's called Ego and Enmity and the Undead. So, what do you think? Any takers?

I think it would sound more appealing if it did not include the undead.

[And Cole goes to retreive it.]

Thanks. I'll get on it tonight. Probably be finished in a few days.

Don't think we've been introduced. I'm Cole Turner.

That sounds like an interesting read, based on the title alone.

[hesitantly, but vaguely amused] I think you're mad, Nora, but that's nothing new.

You are aware there's a version of this sans undead, I hope...?

[The Master is becoming bored, so a harmless diversion is a good idea. He's read Ego and Enmity, but never gotten around to reading the undead version.]

This sounds like a good idea. I'd be pleased to join, my dear. I hope you won't mind a bit of comparison with the original?

It's a pleasure to meet you, Miss Diniro. I am the Master.

[He accepts the book with a gracious nod and rapidly, within moments, reads the first few pages.]

Well, perhaps not more interesting, but certainly entertaining in a different way.
