[Being outside training as usual not too far from the castle, Sasuke is working on his chidori manipulation, practicing on a few targets which isn't anything too strange if it wasn't for the sword-like shape of lightning that he attempts to use to cut down the target he was practicing with from a distance.

It's kind of varying on whether it hits the target since it's still something he's working on, either way, Sasuke isn't looking that impressed with how his training is going at the moment. Feel free to bother him or interrupt him, and try not to get hit?]

[ she stays quiet for a while, fascinated by the sound. she knows it's not the sound of actual birds, because she can't see any, but... whoa.

she waits until he's finished with one strike to call out. ]

[Sasuke pauses for a moment, he stops and turns to look over in her direction. He doesn't exactly greet her...but acknowledging she's there says as much]

[He can sense you're there, Maya! But with how he is, he's just a bit focused on what he's doing to acknowledge her just yet unless she calls out to him]

[ now that there's no more lightning crackling in the air, she trots forward a bit. ]

It's from the high concentration of electricity. I suppose that's how it got its name.

One Thousand Birds-- would be the literal meaning.

Yeah-- it's just one of the things I can do though.
