In case anyone was wondering... I did make back-ups of all the information I'd gathered before, just in case the castle decided to play shenanigans. For all the new people who are going to be arriving, I'm going to copy my old report into this one, but I'd like to update it beforehand.

Which is where all of you come in. I'm trying to gather information on changes that have happened - between the journals, and the fact that some people are apparently coming back memories intact now.

Also, I was out of commission on the expedition that led to the other castle ruins, but I've been trying to pick up what I can out of the journals. There's that bizarre letter for one, but did I miss anything else important?

I'm interested to know if the First Gens have shiny new journals too, or if they only have the old ones.

I've been doing some research on the two journals, if that's worth putting into the report...

I'm going to double back through the old expeditions and see if I can pry up anything we might have missed before, too. Just in case it vanishes.

My group had to go through several puzzles before we found that letter. Two of them were very similar to puzzles I encountered in my own world. In one, we came across a three-headed dog. And in another we had to find a bug-shaped key among other bugs.

I can come by whenever Rin does.

I know somebody took a lot of pictures, and Rin and a few others got some interesting rubbings. You'll probably be thrilled at the overload of not-so-useful information we once again gathered.

Entirely true, as a matter of fact, though I'd like to at least get one Patrol meeting in before we go. Might I ask who told you?

And was it apparent that all this was set up specifically to hide the letter? Like a... pedestal opened up with it under glass or something as soon as you finished, or... I don't know.

No... Clark and I haven't, um, really made any solid wedding-shaped plans here... still.

I thought they were more like security measures, possibly set in place by the natives.

I would say that everything is backed up in my memory and I can rewrite anything I've ever read in the journal, but with the castle, that's not exactly infallible, either.

[Which sucks. One of the things that still gets him at least a few times a week is the chance that he can't trust his own memories.]

I wonder what Libet's personality was like, compared to Paradisa. It really sounded like the people there lived in synchronicity with the castle, rather than alternating between times of relative peace and then trouble.

Think someone should try filtering to them?

Not a bad idea, though if they don't answer, that doesn't really tell us anything definitively. And if they do, well, we'd better have something worth saying.

Yeah, to the point that it was a little... creepy if you ask me. Communing with this place doesn't really strike me as a harmonious life decision, so much as ... maybe making with the mass lobotomies.

But maybe their castle didn't act like a spoiled little brat, either.

True. Suppose we could ask if this is what happened last time--about five years ago now, it'd be, right? When Django showed up?

Of course, that's if her loss is over. If it's even a loss...

Hmm. Seems harmless enough, and a leading question might draw out some kind of answer... Not that they've ever been big on giving us answers, but it's worth a shot.
