[Allen is sitting at the desk in the front area of the clinic, where he usually hangs out if he's not busying learning or doing horrendous tasks assigned to him. He was half studying anatomy, half doing terribly done doodles in his notebook when he hears her come in]

Ah- hello! How can I help you?

[And this lady is there, rolling some bandages.]

Hello! [She smiles at the man, more confident now.] Do you run the clinic? If so, I was wondering if I could possibly get a job here.

Oh, hello! [People are very friendly here.] I was just seeing if it was possibly to start working at the clinic?

Um- I'm sure there's space! I mean I don't run this place, but...what sort of things can you do?

No, no, I'm fine! Maybe I should explain. I'm looking to work in the clinic.

[Peter is stocking up on supplies when the girl comes in]

Hi. Can I help you?

[She takes her hand and shakes it.] Pleased to meet you, Lilith! My name is Martel Yggdrasill. And I'm glad. I wasn't quite sure what to do with myself now that I'm back, and one of my only skills is healing.

[heal_theworld]

Oh! [He startled her, a bit.] I was just wondering if there's room open for me to work at the clinic.

[guiding]

Even if there were a hundred of us, I would not send anyone away. It only takes one person to tip the balance between healing and losing someone, sometimes.

And even if I could, I do not believe it is anyone's right to send anyone away. This clinic is the castle's, and no one person should have rights over it.

[Martel smiles brilliantly. She's pretty sure her and Lilith are going to get along well.] Except the Castle itself, that is.

I'll do anything that is needed of me. I'm not afraid to get my hands dirty if it means saving lives. I'm a healer, it's what I do.

Would you like to come and sit down? There's no need for us to talk on ceremony.

Absolutely. You're joining at a good time, too: we're finally getting more organized.

You are? [She blinks. She didn't know they had a problem with organization.]

Yeah. We've had a lot of volunteers come and go so it was hard to keep records.

Um, that'd probably be Dr. Magnus. She was the one that was keeping track of the staff.

Well, hopefully, I'm here to stay this time.

I hope so. We can use all the help we can get.

Thanks! [She smiles at him.] Why are you working in the clinic?

She was? I'll have to ask around for her, I suppose.
