1/006: Friendship is Science!
"M-mate? Mate? Oh thank god. Hey, mate, do you by any chance remember that cake? Eh? Yes...? A phenomenal chocolate cake I may or may not have promised you? Yes...yes... no? Maybe? Anyway- It may be a LITTLE late, but it's just a few weeks but, but good news! Phenomenal news! I- I finished it. Chocolate too. And- and it's all yours. Great iznit? It's warm now, just got out of the oven. Not the other oven, not like I know anything about that or anything. Just... just yes. That is all! Come on up to my room and- and I'll give it to you. The only thing that I can possibly say on the matter is... PREPARE TO BE AMAZED. Hehe, actually that sounded a bit ridiculous the way I said it. A bit too ominous really, anyway It'll be great.
[For everyone else, the elusive scientist would be out today, and not actually causing a ruckus as usual. Though he did look suspicious. He would be in the library, and for anyone who was in there with the intentions of some peace and quiet to read a good book, that was probably NOT going to happen. He clamored into the library noisily, hands filled with rolls of papers, some pieces of scrap metal, books and stacks and stacks of notes along with the other default sciency equipment. Most importantly, he was holding a box. It read on the side in big letters: FRAGILE and CAUTION. He clamored over to one of the empty tables, dropped all of his stuff there, and rolled out one of the plans. He also turned a few books open as well. He seemed to be building something.
It'd be hard to ignore though. He took out a wrench, and a hammer, and began to pound a sheet of mettle flat, making SHARP LOUD BANGING NOISES that echoed throughout the library. It was loud enough that even those who weren't in the library could hear the sound of metal clanging together.]
