[This one took a while to get him to do. He didn't want to speak to that crazy woman, but it was better if he just got it over and done with. She'd figure it out sooner or later, and he NEEDED to have her on his side when this entire Glados thing went down.]

Alright- alright... I admit that we may have not have seen eye to eye in our last encounter. And... and that could be for an array of reasons. So many reasons, so many that I don't think that I can name them all. But I see where this is going. And I just wanted to say sure! I accept! I accept your little... your little challenge. Even though you didn't even ask it yet, I can tell. I'm sharp like that. To say it frankly, This castle is mine. You-you had your little reign, but I'm not going to let you take it right from under me. So Hahahahahaha! In your face!

You can do whatever you want. I'll even give you a chance to go and do whatever it is you want. I won't be too harsh, but NO ONE will join you. And you know why? Because I... get ready for this... I AM BETTER THAN YOU. No matter what. How's-Hows it feel? Huh?

[[CC doesn't need to be filtered, because when she hears Wheatley, she is already sitting on his couch, watching him]]

I have a question!

[He'd be at his desk, scribbling notes. It'd be pretty dark, his room only lit by the window light, and his desk lamp. Upon hearing her voice, he'd roll his eyes and respond flatly, still drafting something. He wouldn't even look at her.]

"What."

When are we going to get out?

[He suddenly lightened up when she asked. He stopped writing, and swiveled his chair around to look at her.]

"When? Uh... well, I- Soon hopefully. I've got the portal gun ready love. I've just got to set up a few more things. Make a few more allies and confront a few more things. There are a million experiments I could do. I won't do them obviously, that'd take forever, but- but... shouldn't be that far off."

[[CC is quiet. She lowers her head sadly.]]

Do you promise that you will take everyone with you?

"Well, N-No."

[He gets up, and picks up a wrench from his coffee table and a mangled turret. He puts it on the ground, and sits cross legged in front of it. He begins to modify it.]

"Hey-hey, what's wrong with you? S'everything alright?"

Are you going to take the good humans? Or the ones with beards?

[[CC looks curiously at what Wheatley is doing. She leans forward in her seat to get a really good look.]]

[A beat.]

"Well... I mean, I could. The good ones. But there are no really good humans here. They're all terrible terrible creatures. It's in their blood, you know. And besides I don't know anyone with a beard. And If I do they're probably not getting saved because they didn't help me."

[The turret flickers on, and then off.]

"Everyone is at MY mercy. Heh. It's a funny feeling, really."

Oooooooo! That sounds like a lot of power! What are you going to do with that power? Are you going to pick who goes with you? Will any of them have beards?

"M-maybe. It's...uh, I guess possible. I'll just have to find someone with a beard."

[Wheatley nods to himself and continues to repair the turret. He isn't really caring about CC's beard obsession.]

"Well, for one. I'm going to have tp get rid of her. I'm- I'll admit it. I'm a little curious to know what it is that she will do, but I-I should probably kill her quick. She'll do something. I know she will. She'll tell everyone what happened and... and I can't let that happen."

[[CC isn't bothered by the mention of killing someone.]]

Kill her? How are you going to kill her? Is that a good idea? What if she kills you? Are you going to let her kill you?

[CC stands up and sits next to Wheatley on the floor.]

"Haha! Let her? I'm not going to let her kill me. Th-that's all. You see! I have a secret weapon up my sleeve. Top secret even. She doesn't know I have the portal gun, love. She thinks I'm trying to make one, but I'm too much of a moron to build it myself."

[He says that with a little chuckle. Then he suddenly stops laughing.]

"Not...Not like I actually am one. I didn't say that."

How do you know people won't know you killed her?

"Hehe, no worries, no worried. You know, I have a few people who'll believe whatever it is I say. Humans are really stupid creatures."

[He stops for a moment. He even stops working on the turret.]

"I'll make sure it's not obvious. It'll be creative. Mashy spike plates are allllllways the way to go in a situation like this. They-they won't even be able to identify her. She'd just be a mashy mashed mush of... organic mush."

[ Hm. She considers how his tone is slightly more confident by the end of his speech and it reminds her of when he was connected to her body. And the castle being his remark doesn't fly by unnoticed. She's pretty sure that isn't actually true, considering the castle would have likely exploded by now or something equally as destructive, but she can't discount the possibility. ]

What challenge? [ she asks simply, feigning innocence. Obviously, she knew that Wheatley was her rival in this place, again. ] Oh, you mean the fact that I'm going to win all of them over? Because I'm infinitely smarter than you are?

[[CC nods.]]

We have mashy spike plates?

"Ye-yeah. Well... well, no. We'll see. I've got months over you, you... you can't even walk!

Hehe... Have...fun learning that.

And- and you know that potato trick? That- that outsmarted you! I didn't even think that would work. But it did! And... and you know what? I'll do it again! Not exactly the same but... but I'll do it and... and you won't even see it coming, love!"

"Sure we do. Right over there."

[He looks over behind his couch. How did she miss that giant half-built plate? It was pointy. If you tripped into it, you're a goner.]

Yes, I can walk. [ Maybe not too WELL, but those were minor details. ] I assume you were completely unable? How sad. I suppose you really are a moron. [ She wasn't able to either, but shh. ]

[ Her voice becomes low and menacing again at the reminder of her time in a potato. ] And that wasn't what outsmarted me. You never outsmarted me.

[ She didn't really want to admit it was Chell, either. ]

[[CC's eyes get really big as she sees them.]]

Are you going to mash a lot of people? How about that lady? The other lady? Not the one from Aperture, but the human one?

[He removes his glasses and rubs his eyes.]

"W-Who?

The lady who has the really weird purple balls in her head. Are you going to kill her?

"I AM NOT A MORON. STOP CALLING ME THAT."

[Buttons are pushed.]

"L-Let this be a warning! Be-because what happened before isn't happening again, and you may have been sooooo smart when you were at the facility but-but, y- we're not cores anymore. Yeah, no. You can't just make neurotoxin come from the walls when you want and not feel it's effects too, and-and you can't know everything, and... and-and you can't not feel pain! Everything that you had as an advantage is now a disadvantage. You're not going to win this one."

[He closed his eyes and rubbed the bridge of his nose.]

"Oh! Um... well, uh... I'll need her. If I kill her now, then I won't have anyone to believe me. That wouldn't be very smart, and I am NOT a moron."

[[CC takes his sleeve and tugs it to get the attention she already had.]]
