[Fenris has, as always, been largely ignoring the castle. He makes his social interactions when the castle forces him to, but he treats it as an annoying routine he must follow. Having spent his morning in the lobby, he has retreated to his room.

Unfortunately, something is waiting in his room. It's something that has been in his room for quite some time now, lying in wait. Ready to STRIKE. And today is the day it pounces. The journal is of course open to pick up the sound of Pinkie's Party Cannon going off, along with the elf's startled yell as he and his room is covered in streamers, balloons and confetti]

The blighted beast left months ago! WHY IS THIS THING IN MY ROOM?!!!!

A gift is generally something that is desired.

Yeah, true but she probably meant well by it in her own way.

I doubt it, the beast only wished to make my life a misery. [There are ripping sounds as he takes down all the decorations]

I'm certain that she wasn't trying to do that. I always liked her enthusiasm.

Well, that's probably true. I suppose she just wanted to leave a bit of herself behind.

She hid it in here. The blighted creature haunts me even now.

Then why did she not leave a part of herself with someone who actually tolerated her existence?
