[His voice breaks off mid-sentence, and is a little softer when he continues. He sounds distinctly uncertain.]

What... what is this place? And how did I get-

[Another pause as he suddenly realizes this might be related to that threat they've been worrying about.]

All right, who did this? Where am I? And if this is or if you've done anything hurt my fiancee or threaten Canterlot or Equestria, I promise you, you'll regret it.

Without me, the city will come under attack, and my second in command broke his leg a month ago. He's not ready to command if Canterlot comes under assault.

[He sounds very polite, slightly puzzled, and still quite formal.]

The most commonly accepted explanation is that we were all ponynapped by the magic of this place. I, however, have no explanation for a spell that can pluck ponies from space and time itself.
