[Ezio is currently in Stephanie's bathroom, sitting in a chair with both a magazine and his journal on his lap, feet kicked up on the vanity. Because he can. And because Stephanie is about to start fussing with his hair, because both are bored and have somehow come to the conclusion that this is a great way to spend time.

To her:]

You can do whatever you'd like to it, just don't cut it or make it strange colours.

Aw. I wouldn't say purple is a strange color. It's the best color, actually.

[She says from the depths of a bathroom cabinet. She's been digging around in there for a few moments, happy for this weird distraction, but annoyed at how much JUNK she's accumulated in the past two years.]

Spray on tan? Seriously, Brown? When did I--oh! Hmm...

Not for hair, saccente. And I do not want to know what a "spray on tan" is.

I'm sure you insulted at least one person with purple hair in the castle right now. And I wasn't talking to you about the tan thing, so don't worry about it. You don't need to know.

[The world is not ready for Orangezio. Steph comes over to the vanity with a curling iron in hand, and seemingly just notices where his feet are. She frowns and goes to push them off with the handle of the iron.]

Manners.

[He takes them down, giving a curious look to the tool in her hand. It looks.... vaguely like a dildo............................]

What is that?

A curling iron. [She'll hand it to him, since it's safe as long as it's not plugged in.] The metal barrel heats up, you twist your hair around it, and the clamp keeps it snug while you hold it in place for a little bit to set. Instant bouncy hair.

Ah. I think women must use something similar in my time, but the rod would not be electric, obviously. I can't say I have ever paid much attention to these things. Have you shown Lucrezia this, yet?

No, but now that you mention it, I should. Might save her some time with all that hair of hers. I'll have to show her how.

[She sets the iron down and plugs it in so it can heat up.]

I can't remember the last time I curled anyone's hair, so I might be a little rusty. Good thing you're here, though. Better you than Lucrezia, right?

[She grins. Hard to tell whether she's joking or not...]

[He flips idly through the journal, and then looks up at her with a skeptical smile.]

Do you mean to say there is a risk of burning my skull in the name of protecting Lucrezia?

Scalp. If we hit skull, we've got a big problem.

And yes. See, this isn't a pointless endeavor after all!

[She steps behind him to pluck out his ribbon.]

[Watch his hair fall out of the ponytail all ~~sparkly and bishouneny~~ predictably. All that thick, straight Italian hair, with a slight obvious kink near the nape of his neck, given how much time his hair spends pulled back.]

For the safety of a beautiful young lady, anything.

[She'll begin to comb it out. You better not have tangles, Ezio.]

And hey, maybe Cristina will find you super handsome with curly hair. Two birds with one stone.
