32nd Death

[private]

[going to bed last night was harder than usual for Dextera. it wasn't because of the nightmares. it was because he knew what tommorow was.

May 14. the day of the Blaze. he had been worried that it would happen again. that because he was here it would happen and the people here would distort like home and suffer. Dextera knew full well what his loss was and that he wouldn't be able to fix anything here if that happened.

but it didn't. he woke up this morning and everything was fine. he felt better.

his joyful mood broke when he saw his reflection in the bathroom mirror and saw not his reflection, but a woman's. her's. the Absolute God's body was his.]

Why...?

[but it was something he really didn't have to ask. Dextera didn't have the Archangel here, so was the castle reminding him of his sin instead? that he drove the God of his world insane? he wouldn't forget so easily.

Dextera rested his - or was it her's now? - head against the glass and sighed.]

I'm sorry...

[if you're outside in the gardens today you might notice a young woman with long, pale pink hair sitting beside the flowers. she's staring up at the sky with a sad look on her face and is paying attention to nothing but it.

(he never realized how nice the blue was compaired to red)

but if a woman staring at the sky doesn't catch your attention, her clothing might. it looks exactly the same as a certain mute's clothing, right down to that coat he rarely took off. investigate?]

[ooc: Loss start and open. as a heads up, there will be some Baroque spoilers in the Private entry and in the comments.]
