[in the lobby today, you'll find one of the resident ponies giving her magical offspring an impromptu lesson of sorts. Said magical offspring is also clad in an awesomely stylish vampony cape, for some reason. Must be a new toy.]

Nay, 'tis closer to [she pauses and stands up straight. Wings are spread, head thrown back, and she is practically (most definitely) looming over the filly.] 'Mwahahahahahahah!'

[as the echoes of the surprisingly malevolent laugh fades away, the foal rears up on her hind legs, her forehooves holding the edges of the cape open in an attempt to look bigger and to imitate her mom's wings.] Mwahahahahaha! Give me candy or I'll gobble you up!!

[at that, Luna has to sit down. And try not to laugh too hard.] V-very good. Mine hooves are shaking.

[the child pouts] No you're not. [a pause] Are you?

[[ooc: dictated/action. Open to everypony!]]

[Well, Fluttershy was out and about with her daughter today... but then, SCARY LAUGHTER EEEEEEK! So there's a terrified pegasus hiding behind some curtains. The unicorn foal, however, just pokes the curtains.]

Mommy...?

[Luna looks over at the quivering curtains and. Oops.

She quietly walks over, her curious foal trailing behind.] Fluttershy?

[The unicorn waves a little to the family.]

Hello, Auntie Luna.

[And after a bit, Fluttershy manages to poke her head out, looking embarrassed.]

... Um. Hello.

[Luna smiles and nods at the unicorn filly. Oh no, what was her name??] Hello to thee as well.

Hiya Star! Hi Aunt Fluttershy! Look at my cool cape!

[Luna looks at Nine. This is kinda the same way she was familiar with Rarity and Spike. Interesting.]

[Fluttershy gets up on all fours, looking confused that the fillies know each other. Starlight smiles, walking up and getting a closer look at the cape.]

It's so pretty! I want one just like it!

Um... we were just out, you know... Shining Armor is with the other one, Shining Spark...

[Nine does a little twirl, showing off the cape.] Aunt Rarity made it for me! Maybe you can ask her for one too!

[...poor Rarity.

Fluttershy gets a bit of a wry smile from Luna.] Shining Spark? A most telling name indeed. [hmm] How art thou, dear Fluttershy?

Mommy and Daddy haven't let me and Spark see anypony! We had to ask and ask and ask and ask to get out today.

[... w-well THEY HAVE THEIR REASONS. Fluttershy gulps.]

We're, um, we're okay... we've just been trying not to... see... certain ponies...

[Nine's eyes grow wide.] Were you grounded?

Certain ponies? [she's trying to decide if you meant pony ponies or everybody ponies]

Nah... I think Mommy is being shy again. [Shrug. She's apparently very used to her mommy being a coward.]

A certain... related... aunt... [hint hint.]

Oh. Well, you're here now and we can do something fun!

[...okay.] Art thou speaking of Twilight Sparkle?

[Nine pipes up.] What about Mama?

[What about Mama Twilight? She's hardly in a position to be mad when she's in basically the same situation, right? And she can't quite imagine Fluttershy and Twilight quarreling over something.]

N-Nothing! Why don't you two go play... where we can see you?

Okay! C'mon, Nine, I wanna play! Let's play!

[She begins galloping off, eager.]

Yeah! [she rears back, kicking the air with her forelegs] Beware the dreaded vampony! Mwahahaha! [aaand she goes tearing off after Starlight.

Luna turns back to Fluttershy, a question on her face.]

[She toes the ground shyly.]

... I asked my friend about this, and he said I shouldn't tell Twilight about me and Shining Armor... so...

Because he is to marry this Mi Amore Cadenza [whoever that is] or because thou wilt be closer to the Captain than she is currently?

Oh, no, I could never be closer to him than the princess or Twilight! But... he's Twilight's brother, and... it just feels so strange... My friend said to just wait it out and avoid her...

Strange or not, I highly doubt she could reasonably blame anypony for the antics of the castle.

[and there's a loud CRASH somewhere behind them. And possibly crying. Looks like one or both foals have run headlong into a coffee table or whatever else is in the lobby that also makes a loud crashing sound.]

[Fluttershy BOLTS to get to her precious baby. Her unicorn whines as she lays on the floor, trying and failing to touch her horn. Fluttershy skids to a halt, trying to hold her.]
