I realize it's been a few months since I brought this up - Paradisa has a way of conspiring against me - so I think it's best we head out now that that the dust has settled. The expedition to the tower will depart tomorrow. Bring any notes and supplies and gear you may require for being out in the wild for a few days. Powers willing, we'll return with a workable plan for the outpost wards. 

Lakare, I presume we can borrow your TARDIS to expedite the trip?

For those of you that may have missed it, I am attempting to get together a team to come up with a warding system to help protect the outposts. In this case I refer to magical protections, but anyone who has other ideas are welcome to contribute to the cause. That said, I'm taking a small group out to perform some tests, starting tomorrow. If you'd like to join us, please let me know.

Most of the traps and spells I can cast are dark magic. Pretty high-level evil stuff.

Some people might be a bit wary about that stuff.

Not that I can think of. Feel free to pack a little heavy, since we'll be stationary for the duration. So, whatever you can think of to test magic on or test against what other people come up with, bring it.

And that's exactly why we need you. I think that would rate rather high on the type of magic that might be set against us.

Of course. You'll have to find a way to not set them off on just anything, however.

Strategic placing and wording should be enough, provided that I can work the requirements into the spell.

Spell-weaving's not my forté, but I'm pretty decent at it.

Then again, she could always transit back to the castle real fast if something happened. So long as she didn't over exert herself, it should be fine.]

I'm not sure if my brand of wizardry will be much use for this, but if you think you need the help, I can probably manage it.
