[Have a black cat currently hanging out in the kitchen.  He's currently on the floor attacking the feet of visitors, begging for food and otherwise being an adorable cat.  He's hungry and wants attention.  And the sense is being overwhelmed by those lovely feline instincts.

Food now.]

[Fluttershy happens to go by the kitchen, and immediately notices the little darling.]

Oooh, what a cute kitty-cat!

[Sam's in the kitchen at some point during the afternoon on a quest for some kind of snack and passes the cat with a smile before crouching down beside it.]

Hi kitty.

[foughtfortheusers]

Meow.

[He's not cute. At all. That is undignified.]

[foughtfortheusers]

[Looking up at the mini user. Hi mini user. Do you have food?

At least, that's his thoughts. In reality? It's] Meow?

[And oddly enough, she seems to understand the tone of his mew.]

Oh, um, sorry... I mean... what a strong, masculine kitty-cat.

[sameteam]

[Sam unfortunately doesn't understand meows and instead of getting food, he reaches down to try and pet Rinzler.]

Are you lost?

[foughtfortheusers]

Meow?

[Okay. That's a different reaction. But better than the first one...]

[foughtfortheusers]

[shaking his head. Hungry yes. Lost, no.] Meow.

Oh, well, you see, I can talk to animals...

[sameteam]

[Hmm. Discerning eyebrow.]

Are you lonely?

[foughtfortheusers]

Meow.

["Not normally an animal."]

[foughtfortheusers]

[Rinzler shook his head, then moved to rub it against the little user.]

Oooh... then this must be a loss!

[sameteam]

[Sam watches the kitty with a frown. It seems to understand him well enough despite being a cat, but--- oh! Now he knows!]

Hungry, kitty?

[foughtfortheusers]

Meow.

["Exactly."]

[foughtfortheusers]

[Nodding, purring. Good little user. Feed the cat.] Meow.

[sameteam]

[Sam smiles down at the kitty as he heads further into the kitchen, wishing up some hard cat food. Once poured into a little bowl, he sets said bowl down in front of Rinzler.]

[foughtfortheusers]

[Rinzler starts munching on the food, not a care in the world.]

[sameteam]

[Reaching out, Sam attempts to gingerly pet the little kitty, confused as to where it came from in the first place. After all, he hadn't seen it yet before.]

[foughtfortheusers]

[Purring as he eats. The kitty actually has a collar too.]

[sameteam]

[Oh! As Sam's gently petting Rinzler, his fingers run into the collar and he frowns slightly. Carefully, he turns it so he can try and read what might be written on there.]

[foughtfortheusers]

["Rinzler"

The cat pauses, looking up at Sam.]

[sameteam]

[Sam frowns at the name before down at the cat. It's the guy he's not supposed to talk to.]

Rinzler.

[foughtfortheusers]

Meow.

[He's just a cat, kid. Most he can do is scratch. And he won't hurt the little user.]

[sameteam]

[Sam cocks his head slightly to the side before gingerly petting the cat again.]

I don't think I'm supposed to do this.

[foughtfortheusers]

[Pushing his head into the hand, purring.]

[sameteam]

[Soft kitty, warm kitty, little ball of fur. With Rinzler's purring, Sam carefully scoops more food into the bowl.]

Do you really like cat food?

[foughtfortheusers]

Meow.

[He stops once he's full. It's not bad, but he'd not had that much to compare it with. It could be worse... Just the stuff from times he's been human.]

[sameteam]

[Sam sits down next to Rinzler, watching the kitty.]

Do you want to play? [Nevermind that Rinzler just finished eating.]

[foughtfortheusers]

[Purring, rolling on his back cutely]

[sameteam]

[Sam hesitates briefly before reaching for the kitty belly and carefully rubbing it.]
